Love this place! Dinner was great with one exception, our Prime Strip Steak was not good quality meat. Steak was very chewy and disappointing. The preparation of the strip steak with tomatoes, veggies and demi glacé was very good. Dover Sole and sides were all very good. Cocktails are always excellent.

Fantastic all around. I’ve heard great things about Splendido and decided to stop in by myself for a nice meal. From the bread service on to the dessert everything was impressive. I had Sotir as my waiter who was very helpful and attentive. I started off with a margarita that was very good and unique compared to many others I’ve had. For my appetizer I went with the Hamachi Crudo which was a great dish. Well presented with good flavors. The star of the night was one of the specials a Veal Osso Buco. Hands down this was the best dish I’ve had in Colorado in the 10+ years I’ve lived here. It was special and everything in the dish went well together. For dessert I went with a peach tart which was fantastic. The ice cream was also very well done and seemed to be homemade. I’m going to be honest. This meal surpassed its cost in every aspect. I left full feeling satisfied wanting to return. Great overall experience at a restaurant I will be recommending to many.

The atmosphere and service is excellent but sadly these things are what is keeping the restaurant popular. The food was less than satisfying. The prices on the menu were hardly readable even using a flashlight and glasses. Also printed in light Grey. I specifically requested my halibut prepared medium rare. My fish came out dry and was only able to eat part of it thanks to a sauce poured all over it. Another in our party experienced the same. I belive Splendido is overrated now and I have experienced much better food in similar restaurants in Beaver Creek.

Come here yearly. Never disappointed. Excellent service and superb food. Ambiance has declined a little. An elegant and beautiful restaurant like this shouldn’t have the canned music with a heavy bass beat. Bring back the pianist. Overall still a huge delight.

The atmosphere is wonderful. Window panels open to a beautiful outside setting. As always, the food is exceptional. Two at our table had Dover Sole. They are known for this fish. Wonderful! The other person had halibut, and said it was very good. Service was on point. All in all, a wonderful evening.

Everything about the evening was perfect. We had the same waitress (Ana) as last year which is always nice … AND she remembered us. We live here in the Vail Valley and have enjoyed our wedding anniversary now for the second time at Spledido. It was a special night at a special restaurant.

We planned a nice evening out with our family. We were seated next to the bar with children spinning around in their charis and the bartender shaking his martini shaker! I asked the manager for another table. He was arrogant and unaccommodating! We will never go back to Splendido but it seems that they don't care!

We had to wait about 15 minutes after our reserved time to be seated. The restaurant was packed, two large parties of 20 each along with regular diners. We were seated at the kitchen window, not sure that is the best or worst spot in the restaurant! Considering I said it was our 50th wedding anniversary we were hoping for a more intimate seat. Also, never a mention of that milestone by server or anyone. Kind of disappointing. The service was great, food was delicious.

Splendido never disappoints. This time our family had the tenderloin, seabass, halibut, and veal chop. Don't forget to have a souffle or Ian's Affogato.....DELICIOUS as always.
