Service was outstanding. Food was good, but not great for the price. Quality was great, but even after paying $5 for the garlic butter option, a little salt would’ve taken that steak a long way. Would still go back though.

Went for a Valentine pre show dinner at MSG. They sat us earlier than our reservation and the wine, beer, filet mignon and sides of creamed spinach and sweet potato fries were all outstanding. Service was attentive and not overbearing. Would definitely recommend it if you’re going out on the town!

Great spot pre-Knicks!!! Traditional steakhouse offerings—aged steaks perfectly done, fresh salads not over-dressed. The loaded baked potato is really fun to share and is very tasty. Great staff, down to earth and in tune with diners’ needs…attentive without being bothersome. We love Uncle Jack’s—with all the newer spots to eat bc Corporate America arrived at Hudson Yards, it’s good to see that an old neighborhood fave continues to turn out excellent meals to diehard fans.

We ordered two of the exact same thing (bone-in filet) for a business meeting. My colleague had a good cut with plenty of meat; however, mine was basically all bone and fat with very little actual meat. Both the front desk host and GM made excuses about how this cut of meat has more fat than others (that doesn’t explain the disparity between my cut and that of my colleague) and they rudely argued with me in front of my guest that there was nothing they can do about it. After three rounds of back and forth, they finally only took 50% off of the price for my steak (any respectable establishment would’ve done much more automatically). The lack of care and lack of ownership of issues exhibited at this establishment ensures (1) I will never set foot in here again and (2) I will advise all of my business colleagues to steer clear of this place and choose one of the many other great steakhouses in New York.

Had a truly terrible experience . Business dinner ordered Prime Rib Chop 35 Day Aged Long Bone Tomahawk Chop 24oz, received a small rib eye with no bone asked if it was correct steak they said it wasn’t and literally brought back same steak with a cleaned bone on plate. When we confronted the waiter he admitted that they had given us the same steak with another bone. The manager came to apologize and offered to take the steak off the check or pay for our dessert and drinks. We chose to have the dessert and drinks. When the $900 dollar check came the drinks were on the bill. When asked the manager said he offered drinks of his choice( which he never said). We didn’t even order expensive drinks (sambuca and amaretto). It was ridiculous and offensive. He offered tshirts as some sort of appeasement. Will never return to this restaurant again and will tell anyone that asks this story.

If you are celebrating a special occasion this is the place!!! The staff & bartenders are absolutely fantastic! We never had to wait for a drink and was made perfect! The food was just over the top delicious! We had the steak where you could cut with a butter knife, my only regret is we live to far to go all the time & also pricy as well. We had a fabulous dinner and celebration! Bravo Uncle Jack for making such a memorable evening! Mary & Tim Cosney

Always our favorite before or after any midtown event. The Kobe steaks have ruined steaks from anywhere else for us forever, it's that tender and flavorful. Lobster trail is phenomenal, appetizers are tasty and huge portions. The wait staff is professional and attentive, even when super busy. Love this place!

All I have to say is Giovanni is the best server. His mannerism and personality makes going there such a joy! The food was immaculate as always. My favorite is definitely the candied bacon! I enjoy eating at Uncle Jack”s Westside every birthday with my family !
