We have eaten here several times, always with great satisfaction. Nice ambiance, good prices, nice variety. Don't book through Open Table, though. We did the last time we were there, only to arrive and find the restaurant had not received the reservation. Fortunately, they found a table for us anyway.
Thanks for a great dining experience. Great service, friendly staff and a leisurely dinner.
Service and food was fabulous!! The menu had quite a variety and everyone was very pleased with their selection!
very ridgid rest. Not overly friendly. Not willing to accommodate much in request. Menu was very limited and we asked about Menu vs Brunch.... poor customer service. "take it or leave it attitude"
Services was just ok
Eleven Waters obviously wants to be a chic place to eat. The menu is towards the gourmet end and the food was pretty good. However, how is it that the nicest restaurant in this Marriott Hotel has no wine list. There is a limited selection of cheaper wines by the glass and then one very expensive bottle of Stags leap cab (which they did not have). They did have one bottle of a cheaper Stags leap bottle leftover from a wedding that we were able to purchase. If you like wine with a nice meal, this is not the restaurant for you. I have never been in this level of restaurant without a bottle wine list.
Salmon was not good. Salad wasn’t good. Service was good
The place is amazing from the food to the location . Very laid back atmosphere.
Great waitress with a customer focus and a smile combined with great service. Pleasant and quiet. Food was done well and tasty, but veal was a little tough. Meatballs were excellent. The valet service made access easy.
Wonderful atmosphere and exceptional service. Our server Jackie was on top of all of our needs, was quick and courteous. Would definitely recommend to others and will absolutely be returning!
Food was really good - just wish there was more entrees to choose from
This fine restaurant provided tasty food and interesting menu choices. The staff was professional and personable. The caesar salad was very delicious and served in a generous portion.
Server did not inform us of specials.
We asked about Bloody Mary bar never explained, did order Bloody Mary it was plain with no fixings.
Food was very good
Extremely poor service — the restaurant was practically empty and it took the waitress 1/2 and hour to even take drink orders —- food was OK, but not a big variety or worth the money spent.
Venue furniture looked cheap compared to the beauty of the hotel. Waiter smelled had untidy attire and seemed irritated when asked what they had on draft and the veg of day. Someone was caught smoking inside and brought many fire trucks. Staff seem unattentive sloppy and played on phones. However, The meal was good. Wouldn't go back.
Very good food and excellent, attentive and friendly service.
I wanted to take a friend to a fancy brunch on a Wednesday for her birthday. Wish I had chosen somewhere else. Although it was apparent they were trying to make it a great experience for us... they fell short. We had made reservations for breakfast at 11am. Luckily we arrived at 10:55 where we were told we would not be able to order breakfast because at 11am they stop serving breakfast. This was after a waitress told us the hostess would be right with us ( the place only had one other table sitting) There was a hotel guest staying too who just wanted to grab some breakfast and was denied, once we argued we had reservations for breakfast and that it's was still technically before 11 am, she begrudgingly sat us, and mentioned someone would be with us soon. The waitress came over, and asked what she could get us and once we mentioned we wanted mimosa's she perked right up and our service was much better. The manager Alison, dropped off our breakfast's very promptly after ordering with a big smile and very friendly disposition. The meal for two eggs Benedict, 2 coffees, and two mimosa's cost us over $50. A very expensive breakfast for Syracuse....the worst part.... it tasted about the same as any other diner that carries the same meal....only thing is they only charge $7 for it instead of $15 we paid at Eleven Waters. The entire experience took about 25 minutes from start to finish. This is the second time I've had brunch here and sadly, I think our last. I'd rather save our money and go to any other diner in Syracuse for breakfast.
I have not heard the best reviews about the food, so I was a bit tentative when scheduling a business lunch. I was pleasantly surprised by the food however--it was average. However, the service was not noteworthy.
Service somewhat slow but servers Extremely responsive and friendly
Chicken special was good. Fish was dry. Waitress was nice but unresourceful.
Nothing bad about this place but nothing special either. The menu is fairly limited.
Generally pleased with the experience. Food was good, drinks also well done. Waitress was great.
However the decor is rather cold, stark and anything but cozy. The hard surfaces make for harsh acoustics. Rugs might help.
Because we had such a great experience the night before, ( amazing service.. they could not be more accommodating and food was very good. Wish I knew their names they were exceptional! ) We decided to return the following evening. Biggest mistake. Our servers Jon and Kristen were so rude to us. When making the reservation we called ahead and got the okay to bring our two small dogs for outside dining from the very nice manager Allison. Every small request to Jon and Kristen they were annoyed, gave us a lot of attitude and were impatient when it took us longer to order. They made us feel very unwelcome. We frequently visit my mom while in town and liked to dine there. Not sure I would return now.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Syracuse. Great ambiance, a hidden gem. Food is excellent and there is always a great deal. The value is excellent. I like the bar as well which is a renovated barbershop. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Worst meal I ever had! How do you mess up chicken and risotto? Chicken bones in the risotto and the chicken was greasier than kfc. Ordered fish trying to for a healthy option and again topped with extra buttery sauce.. reminded me of movie theatre popcorn butter. The staff was nice and accommodating. They shared that the fish dish was being eliminated next week as they are getting a new menu. Not soon enough. I will not return.
Nice location. Great place to go after bowling in the USBC Open Tournament. Our friends enjoyed the food and the service.
We enjoyed the meal - one dish was not to our liking, and the server quickly offered to take it off the bill, which was appreciated but not expected. Everything else was delicious, and we were offered wine samples before choosing. We sat outside on a quiet Monday evening and felt that the experience was pleasant, and that we would certainly return.
BTW ourserver was so nice - very attentive while not rushing us at all. Thanks:)
Upon arrival, it took around 6 minutes to get a server to seat us, despite the restaurant only having around 7 people dining at the time. Upon being seated, we had to wait another 5 minutes to get our menus/waters. Another 10 or so minutes for the waiter to come back and take our order. After that it was relatively quick. Food came well-presented. I ordered a croque monsieur, which came smothered in a rather flavorless béchamel sauce. A dash of pepper and it was quite delicious though. My associates ordered the French toast, which was smothered in beautiful fresh fruit, and the Eastwood skillet, which was perfectly seasoned. Overall, it was a pleasant brunch. I would definitely dine here again.
We went for a Father's day Brunch which really was nothing more than the typical Elite Lounge style breakfast choice. Perfectly suitable food, but certainly nothing very special. Our server must have been having a rough day or over assigned tables because there was an hour stretch where we heard nothing and our meals (breakfast dishes) had not arrived. I've experienced better before at this location but was disappointed as a Father's Day treat.
I booked Eleven Waters for a going-away dinner for a dear friend; there were about ten of us who attended. We were some of the few customers in the restaurant on a Friday evening, which was strange. The food was delicious and its presentation was very good. The evening, however, was negatively impacted by our waitress who was abrasive and unintuitive. As we circled the table, detailing the love we had for our friend, oftentimes in tears, usually with only one person speaking at a time, the waitress incessantly interrupted, rudely and loudly - taking no notice that she was destroying many lovely moments that can never be regained. It was extremely disappointing and in very poor taste. Left a very bad taste in the mouth of myself and my esteemed colleagues.
Service was good, food was yummy. No complaints.
Went here for a friends birthday dinner and they overcharged one of the people with us 3x for her bill then when she went to get it fixed they again charged her instead of refunding it, so she was now charged 6x her bill. She has had to go in person each time because no one answers the phone and everyone she’s spoken with has been incredibly rude. This has caused her bank account to go in the negative so she can’t buy food or gas and all they are doing for her is giving the refund and they’re barely doing that. Overall I would NEVER go again and would tell others to stay away, if this is how they handle business they don’t deserve to have it.
We had an excellent brunch! Loved the Bloody Mary bar.
Staff was wonderful.
keep up the great salad and soup buffet all was excellent and fresh and well stocked up - let me know the bands playing on weds. Deborah.email@example.com can give you more business and keep telling people about you
Very mediocre service. Server not attentive, nor overly friendly. Food was ok, but not great. Typical mediocre hotel restaurant.
Jon was very rude to my friend. He did not tell her about an extra charge that would be incurred on the bill and refused to take it off. She paid more for yogurt and fruit than I did for a skillet. While I enjoyed my meal very much, the service was very poor and slow.
We were a party of 10. There were two other large groups which made it very loud of hearing. The acoustics are terrible in the restaurant. The food is over prisced for what you get. Several of the meals were cold and you could tell they were under food warmers for to long. As beautiful as Hotel Syracuse is Eleven Waters was a big disappointment
Our waiter was very curt. We felt like we were imposing on him. The duck taco was outstanding. The Tuna entrée was bland. They did not have several desserts that were on the menu.
Restaurant appears upscale and claims to be "rustic" - but ambiance is lacking - all of the walls are plain white with no decor, music was almost too soft. The only things seeming rustic were the uncovered wood tables and all staff wearing blue-jeans. Tables are spaced too far apart and usually I have the opposite complaint of restaurants. Overall - very bland/nonexistent atmosphere. Many Italian items on the menu, including sausage-stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer (delicious!). Food was very good, although one of two steaks was very under-cooked and had to be sent back for additional searing. That took longer than expected, despite a mostly empty restaurant - everyone else was finished with their meals before that steak returned to the table properly cooked. Normally such an error might gain a customer a free dessert, but not here. Restaurant is moderately pricey - pasta dishes between $15-$19, steaks around $26-$36, appetizers around $10, desserts around $7, and least expensive bottle of wine around $32. Wine list is severely limited - for a restaurant serving Italian food, I don't recall seeing any Italian red wines (seems odd). We all agreed the dinner was good, but probably wouldn't go back again - too many better & more interesting places to eat in Syracuse for less money. This could easily be a better restaurant experience that could bring us back - but the Marriott needs to do some work to get it there.
