Hearsay’s modern take on American cuisine and cocktails combines with the distinct atmosphere and music of the 1930s to create a space that is warm, inviting, and unlike any other in Southern Oregon. Situated just below the beloved Oregon Cabaret Theatre and a three-minute walk from the world-renowned Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

Garden seating is based upon availability at the time of your reservation. If requested, and not available we will place you in the dining room or lounge. Please note: pets not allowed in the garden. Thank you!

    We had a great anniversary dinner at Hearsay! Great cocktails, and they gave us complimentary prosecco for our anniversary. Clarissa was an amazing server! Tons of knowledge about the menu, etc. Great experience.

    Love the vibrant and jazzy murals on the wall. Love the live piano playing in the dining room. This is a classy date night spot. My husband ordered the short ribs and loved it. I had the Sautéed veggies and rice which was just okay. I appreciated they had vegetarian options but the dish was a little soy sauce heavy. The tables are a bit small making the searing a bit tight Overall, I enjoyed the experience.

    We visited on our wedding anniversary yesterday because we love this restaurant so so much. Julie, the owner, is very friendly and so is the wait staff. They just changed to their summer menu and it’s a big thumbs up👍 We love to come here for dinner before the theater

    First time and we loved the ambiance 1920s jazz club. Great cocktails, appetizers and entree. Service was wonderful too. Highly recommend.

    Great atmosphere. Ordered pasta dish then, later, told no pasta. Had to change. Ordered desert and waited 20 minutes to be served. Will probably give them another chance on our next visit.

    The service was great and the Halibut and chiffon cake dessert was to die for! The ambiance is beautiful and there is outside seating too.

    We sat in the garden which was lovely, had a very nice waiter and our Short Ribs with Polenta were delicious. Highly recommend Hearsay.
