   Great location, and the restaurant itself is very nice. Food was fairly good, and our appetizers were terrific. We would definitely recommend the chips & salsa and the cornbread. The worst part was the service, just zero personality from our waiter and we had multiple periods of 15+ minutes where we needed something from him and he didn't come by our table.

   We were so excited to try Alma after friends raved about it. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning. Service was awful. It took 15 min for a waitress to come to our table, then another 15 min at least before we received our drinks. The apps w ordered did come out quickly and were delicious. 3 in our party ordered the flat iron steak. It came out cold and over cooked. The tortillas that were served with it fajita style had been taken from the refrigerator and put in the plates. Another person ordered the pork chop. It was overdone and extremely dry. The 2 of us that ordered Tacos were mostly satisfied with our meals. Our waitress never reappeared to ask if we would like additional drinks. The manager did comp the meal and said they were understaffed. It was such a disappointment to drive 45 min to get to a restaurant that was worse than average. We won’t be going back.

   We go there often because the food is excellent. Taco Tuesday is great. Our server, Maria, was just wonderful.

   We just went for Mother’s Day. The food was delicious everything we had as a big group. The only thing we didn’t like was that the service was very slow. We waited 30 minutes at a table for our server to great us and even just give water And then again same time to even take our orders. Everything else was phenomenal

   Cool little spot with a different take on Mexican food. I’d recommend this place to friends and family.

   Went here on Mothers Day, experience was okay. Our server may have been new? Or confused. We had some questions regarding the menu and he didn’t seem to know what was on the menu. Then I ordered a churro waffle and what he brought out seemingly was their prickly pear waffle, so I asked if this was correct and he said it was the churro waffle. I was confused bc the description of the waffle and what was given seemed to be the prickly pear. He seemed annoyed when I asked for the churro waffle and said it’d be a few more minutes, so I said never mind, we already ordered so much food I’ll just eat what we have already no need for the waffle. He takes back the waffle and 2-3 minutes later he comes back with a plain waffle with butter and said that was the churro waffle.. I was so confused and he scoffed at me like I was crazy. And I was like okay since he brought it out I’ll try, maybe the cinnamon sugar flavor is made on the inside.. no… just the most plain waffle lol I didn’t want to complain anymore.. although he gas lighted me on Mother’s Day lol we still tipped 25%! And moved on w our day. Most likely will not come here again or recommend to anyone.

   Food was delicious and ambiance was a good vibe but service was incredibly disappointing. Came to Alma to celebrate a birthday and noted that in the reservation. The hostess was lovely and wished me a happy birthday. That's where the good service ended. After we were seated someone dropped off a bottle of water without saying a word. After about ten minutes a man came over and without any kind of greeting or introduction said, "you ready to order your food?" He had about as much personality as a dead fish. We told him that we'd like to order drinks first and he almost begrudgingly took our cocktail order. Drinks came out and were fine but not stunning. We placed our food order and the appetizers came out quickly and were absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the watermelon salad and brussel sprout appetizer. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to fully enjoy them because the entrees came out less than five minutes later. When we asked the man who brought us our food if we could order a beer from him he simply replied with "no" and walked away. Our waiter appeared a few minutes later and said "I hear you wanted a beer". The remainder of the meal was uneventful but the service never improved. The waiter made no acknowledgment that we were celebrating a birthday and we opted not to prolong the meal with dessert. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious and the patio is phenomenal but the surly waiter really put a damper on what would have otherwise been a great birthday dinner.

   This restaurant is the perfect brunch spot! The service was great, the ambience was fabulous, and the food was unbelievable. The music inside the restaurant was a little loud as they had a dj playing, but we were able to move outside which was shaded and they had fans. Definitely recommend for a fun brunch spot

    Always delicious...my favorite Mexican Shrimp, friends had Mahi and Mussels. All Very good.
