   Another incredible evening at Nick and Sam’s. As always we were fortunate to enjoy the fine service of the best waiter in Dallas, Benny. Benny is just a true professional and an absolute pleasure to spend time with. Steaks were fantastic and we had a great time celebrating two birthdays. Thanks to Benny and Chef Samir for everything.

    Came here for our 9 year wedding anniversary. Great place but I DO NOT recommend it for intimate occasions. This place is loud and it’s a big pond for singles trying to mingle. We waited at the bar until our table was ready. We waited 30 minutes past our reservations for seating. We spent more time at the bar then our actual table. We came here for charm, class, intimacy and high end dining. Not what we got. This is a fun date night spot, birthday or girls/guy’s night out but definitely not special intimate occasion where you want to talk and actually hear yourself. I felt I had to yell for my husband to hear me. Having the piano guy is a waste of time because we couldn’t hear what exactly he was playing and we weren’t that far from him. The place was too over crowded and it was a Wednesday night. Hate to see that place on weekends. I felt a bit overwhelmed with folks breathing down my back. Too close for comfort. Not sure if I will come back, probably won’t unless it’s an invite. This place is more hype to me. Food is great, the bang bang broccoli is a MUST!!! Our waiter was great as well. I cannot knock that.

    Reservation was at 8:00pm, we arrived at 7:57pm and had to wait until 8:33 for a booth which was requested with the reservation weeks ago. Food was great, service was spectacular. Very loud in the eating area and bar music was a little loud as well. However I would go back in a heartbeat. Fantastic ambiance, gives off the vibe of a New York steakhouse with a who’s who crowd. Just need to work on logistics a bit more. Enjoyed our experience nonetheless, wife’s birthday was a success.

    Place is going down hill and it’s ashame, visiting since 2001 and the experience on 8/6/22 was appalling. I do want to start off by saying the food was absolutely superb and our waiter Micha was a delight. Reservations were made three months in advance for a 7:30pm reservation. We got to Nick and Sam’s at 20 after seven, we were offered complimentary champagne. At five till eight we inquired about our table they assured us it would be ready shortly. Quarter after eight I was around and we have to ask again. We were sat in the back dining room where they crammed 17-20 tables in what is a already small room. The pathways in between each of the tables would barely fit one person and when sitting down at the tables you’re so close to your neighbor you might as well been sitting with them. 12-15 min for water and our bar drinks to get to us and it took us 25 minutes to get warm bread to our table. The back dining room was so loud you could barely hear yourself think during dinner and you had to raise your voice just speak with the people at your table. The dining room manager approached us during our meal and asked if there was anything else he could do to make our evening more special. Dress code states business casual on the website, it’s not being enforced I don’t know how some of the people got away with what they were wearing. Workout shorts, tank top and tennis shoes. There were at least 20 people not following dress code. The overall experience is not what it used to be, they are focused on how many people/tables they can fill the restaurant with meanwhile patrons are suffering along with the staff as they really have trouble maneuvering the tight spaces. This might be our last time eating Nick and Sam’s. Thank you, Kyle

    Wonderful food, great place, amazing dessert. Always great service from the waitresses and waiters. The only complaint we ever have is the overbooking and waiting 30+ minutes even with a reservation. Totally would recommend though!

    This was a special day and it was amazing! The food was on point and fabulous. Calamari was the best I have ever had and a grey way to start the experience. Bone in filet was perfectly cooked And seasoned. We finished with the tower carrot cake for the celebration. Perfect evening😎😎

    Great food, though very expensive. Service is outstanding. If you have trouble hearing, this is not the place for you. The noise level is so high, it's difficult to hear your waiter. And there is something going on with the music being played - sometimes it screeches so loud, it hurts your ears! We were disappointed when we got into our car, which was valeted - it was obvious the driver was making our car comfortable for himself - many things inside the car were tampered with.

    Overall, good experience! There was a delay in getting seated for our reservation. The waiter was pleasant, but everyone did seemed rushed all evening. We also were told to order all at once (apps and entrees) which we weren’t crazy about, because the entrees came out very quickly after the appetizers. The food was good, but not quite worth the price in our opinion.

    The food was just decent. I expected better based on the reviews. We had sushi and steak and even the famous Broccoli underwhelmed. Adding to that the tables are so close my arm was hit several times by guests and waitstaff as they moved in and out of the area I was seated in.

    They have way too many tables, and it is too crowded. For a fine dining they need to provide a positive atmosphere vs being so crowded. There was not enough room to walk to the table to be seated. I felt as if we were at a cafeteria low end sitting right on top of each table.

    This was my first visit to Nick & Sam's Steakhouse. I appreciate they decorated the table prior to our arrival since it was my birthday. Our waiter, Tristan, explained the menu very well. I cannot believe they memorize so many details about the steak options. My sushi roll was delicious, and my guy's ribeye was tasty also. The creamed corn and au gratin potatoes were average, and the garlic mashed potatoes were not tasty. It was really crowded for a Tuesday, so you must be prepared for nearby chatter. Overall, the entrees were delicious. It would have been nice to receive a complimentary dessert for my birthday.
