Eli’s Tavern is a living record of the history and heritage of The Coonamessett’s Cape Cod tradition, newly renovated and refreshed to reflect the updated Falmouth MA inn. While the new Eli’s feels more contemporary, our Cape Cod restaurant still houses the heart and soul that has made it a community hub for decades.

I generally don't write reviews, but we were appalled at the poor service we received. We had 730p reservations and still hadn't received our dinner by 9p. People who had got seated after us were served and done by the time we got food. I had to complain to the manager before we received our dinner. The restaurant wasn't that busy and they were understaffed but it ruined our evening. We had been there before and had a lovely time but never again. The manager did comp us one dinner but it just didn't make up for the poor service. I have to say that the food was delicious when we finally got it.

Best meal we have had at the Coonamessett. We chose two of the dinner specials and they were creative and delicious. Lamb perfectly cooked. Service, as always, at Eli's was exceptional. Nice to have options at a place we frequent- their specials are consistently good.

We attended their Sunday Brunch on Father's Day and it was scrumptious! They did a great job managing the large number of folks that attended. We'd definitely return if we were in the area.

We always love the sunday brunch at Eli's Tavern. The buffet is extensive and everything is delicious. The service is great too. Bloody Marys are excellent! Can't wait to go back.

Our server was friendly, kind and helpful. Rolls were received warm and very fresh. Roasted Caesar salad was flavorful and dressed well. The prime rib was delicious, seasoned well, tender and cooked perfectly, with a side of horseradish that had a bit of heat just how we like it. Accompanying asparagus roasted and tender, baked potato very good as well, with butter and sour cream.

Made a reservation and when we arrived, we were seated at our table. The room was cozy. Tables/table tops are small (we were a party of 4). The menu offers a variety of choices for lunch. The clam chowder was very good. The spinach artichoke dip was good. The pita bread it came with would be better if toasted. The turkey club sandwich was excellent. They were out of the cranberry bread which was a bummer but none the less, it was delicious. My husband had the fish and chips. The pieces were good size however, they were over cooked/fried which made the fish on the inside mushy. The homemade chips with a hint of old bay seasoning were off the charts! So good. Our server was just so so. She didn’t not have much of a personality. She was not attentive to clearing dirty dishes. When our main meal arrived, someone else had to clear the dishes so they could serve the meal. Overall, it was a a good meal and we would go back.

Classic dining experience. Service always good. Menu does include lighter meals such as sandwiches as well as usual New England dishes. Nice bar seating as well as booths and tables
