Beau cadre romantique pour manger mais rapport qualité prix très moindre. Le plat était froid et sans saveur. On paie juste la vu sur la cathédrale. Je déconseille

We went because the restaurant looked nice in photos. That would turn out to be the only thing good about this place. At first we were greeted by a very snobby and rude hostess, we booked outside, but after seeing a very rickety thin balcony with old deck chairs we asked if it was possible to sit inside, she replied with sarcasm and attitude “you booked outside?” It was empty inside so not sure what the issue was there. There were 6 staff in a small restaurant wearing earpieces for some reason? Which made them hard to talk to, they were all confused about every move they made. We ordered our meals, a fair bit to try a few of what seemed like tasty dishes, they brought out a small taster dish which I didn’t like, they rolled their eyes that I did not eat this unwanted dish. Then came the entrees, prawn “tempura” which looked like and had the consistency of children’s dino nuggets. Not sure if they know what they dish was, or any of them, seems like they heard of them and winged it. My dish, the zucchini flowers, I was excited to have these as they’re always a favourite of mine. It was inedible. First full of cheese stuff inside an impenetrable wall of cheap nasty batter. You could not make out a flower, or a flavour. I tried another bite but couldn’t. The waitress came to take it, giving me another weird look, I just said “it’s okay, I don’t want it thank you”, to which she took offence and proceeded to ask my why, explain why it is made like that (I’ve had the dish so many times elsewhere with no problems) and then telling me I’m wrong to which I finally had to reply “it’s okay for people to just not like things”, I didn’t want trouble having a meal and was prepared to just wait and hope the final dish would be nice. She kicked up such a fuss and rolled her eyes and stormed off again leaving me feel so awkward sitting there. I asked another staff member if we could just leave. To which we again we berated and talked down to. Do not bother with this place!

It was… okay. The fine was somewhat better than average, but nothing special. The service was awful. No one to offer water or take orders for a long time after sitting down. When we flagged staff, they acknowledged us, then did nothing. When our order was finally taken, the server was abrupt. It’s a nice setting, with lovely ambiance, and could be great. But bad service completely lets it down. Also, no views of il Duomo, despite the advertising. Don’t recommend.

We got seated right at our reservation time beautiful restaurant food and drinks were good only bad part we wanted our cocktail drinks then appetizers then the dinner waiter insisted we order all at once because they get busy we told him ok but to make sure they were spaces out and we didn’t get our drinks for a very long time appetizers came before our drinks and dinner plates too close to when they serve the appetizers and the drinks we just like to space it out felt rush However food and drinks were delicious!!!!

Very weird restaurant. From sitting down we didn’t see a server for a good 15 minutes and even then we were only offered water. Drinks took ages, we ordered 2 glasses champagne. The whole experience was long and drawn out. When we ordered the table next to us complained about their wait on food, we should have taken this as a sign to leave. I was immediately taken aback by the lack of service. When the waiter took our order, I asked for the steak but no mash instead sub fries. He explained mash is a part of the dish and cannot be replaced only removed, so I said fine. He then asked if I wanted to add on the fries for 16€. Mash was only 12€ and I said I was more than happy to pay the difference but not the whole 16€, so I left them off. We should have left after this as it was obvious this restaurant is just a money making scheme and doesn’t care a toss about customer service or good food. To be fair the wait on starter and main wasn’t exceptionally bad, but it was long enough that it felt drawn out and we spent 2.5 hours in the restaurant over 2 courses - which is way too long. Should have been 3 courses but the waiter told the kitchen to hold our dessert back as we were enjoying our wine? We hadn’t said this and we wanted to leave and I wish they had just asked us about this rather than just assume. The service was really lacking. We barely saw any service staff for the duration of the meal with the dining room empty most of the time. The servers, when we did see them, were nice but it felt like nobody wanted to be there. I wouldn’t have minded if the experience was moderately priced, but it wasn’t. It was very expensive for what it was. 290€ in total for the pleasure of 2.5-3 hours in a drab

I went here with my girlfriend on Valentines and I honestly had a terrible experience. The ambience and setting was great but it’s just aesthetically pleasing and that’s all. Ordered a cocktail that had 4 ice blocks in them. Not cubes, but blocks. The blocks were about as long as the glass and as big as a ring box, and there were 4 of them in the glasses. I didn’t even touch the drink but i took out the blocks and my glass was about a quarter full, mind you some of the ice had melted already. I had put the 4 blocks i had take out into another empty glass and by the time i had left, 2 blocks had melted and the glass was essentially half full of water. After making a complaint, the manager was being very patronising, saying that’s how all drinks in italy are made and had the audacity to ask me if i’ve had a cocktail without ice before. After some back and forth, he said he’d take it off the bill, yet when the bill was brought it was still on. After insisting that i’m not paying for that, he removed one drink and i still said no till he removed it. In conclusion on the drinks part, they were rubbish. On the food side, the portions were ridiculously small and not worth the price. To be honest, nothing there is worth the price.
