I always pause when I’m booking a family reservation on a Sunday like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, but I chose Connor Grill and was able to get seating on their patio. It is not outside but it’s open and we were able to sit right next to a large window, which was really nice. There were four of us and we were able to pick from two menus either brunch or lunch. This works great because my dad wanted the sunrise burger, but my mom wanted something off the lunch menu. I chose lunch menu and my husband chose a large appetizer, the poke bowl with avocado. Our server Sam was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed at any point during our meal. Three of us had different flavors of mimosas, very nice for the price!

Had the $39 meal-glass of wine, salad, lemon pasta and chocolate cake. All were very good and you can't beat that price today!

I have a food allergy and they always work really hard to make sure it’s taken care of — and the service has always been good here for us. We had another good experience.

Service was terrible, and the food is overpriced. $16 for a cup of soup is ridiculous. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will not be back.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience at Kona recently. My wife had a date-night reservation at 6:30 on Friday, May 30th. We arrived at 6:20 and were seated immediately since the restaurant was far from crowded. Much less busy than we thought it would be on a Friday. We have been there several times. After 10-15 minutes, a waitress came to our table to take our drink orders. After that, she disappeared. 20 minutes passed with no one coming back to the table with drinks or to even offer us water. We decided to simply leave. We never bumped into the waitress on our way out nor did we see her at the bar getting drinks or anywhere in the restaurant. We simply could not find her. We decided that 20 minutes was too long to wait for a beer and Margherita in an uncrowded restaurant. The actual dinner order would probably be worse. We ended up going to a different place across the street for what ended up being half the cost. For the prices charged here, the service should have much more attentive. Too many places to visit to have to deal with it so we will be taking our business elsewhere for the future. The prices had skyrocketed so much that we were already considering not going to Kona anymore. This just made the decision easier.

Extremely surprised by my experience at Kona. I had no expectations but if I did they would have been exceeded. They have a great happy hour menu with appetizers and drinks. For food, we did the taste of Kona experience. Almost everything was sooo good. For the salads the Asian and Cobb were my favorite. The lemon shrimp pasta and the steak entrees were so flavorful and filling. If you go the sushi route get the bama. It was VERY delicious. I don’t remember the other name of the roll because we just didn’t like it. The chocolate cake was rich and decadent along with the cheesecake. Definitely will be back!
