   For our annual birthday celebration with friends we chose Cathryn's because we were there a few months ago and it was wonderful so we decided to go back and boy were we right to do so. This restaurant is a gem. Worth traveling 40 minutes over the river to get to.

   First time at this restaurant. I had the pumpkin soup, the hanger steak and the baked apple. The soup was good, the steak as well but the baked apple was just that, a baked apple. So don’t get it.

   Wonderful restaurant with great service and amazing food and drinks. We just never had a meal less than exceptional at Kathryns. We highly recommend the calves liver, cod, salmon and calamari. Also had salads and desserts. All were fantastic.

   It was our first time dining at Cathryn's the experience was quite nice. Would like to stop in for a drink at the bar sometime while walking around Cold Spring and see how that is. We will return.

   We arrived a few minutes early for our lunch reservation. The restaurant was empty. Within 10 minutes every table inside and out was filled. We ordered 2 entrees from the specials and we wanted to go back on the way out of town and order them again to take home. Our meals were excellent.

   Very bad experience. Table mixup by restaurant handles terribly and with lack of professionalism. They seem to treat people like tourists they'll never see again

   Ambiance and hospitality were poor and un-accommodating. We had a rsvp for 2, they seated us next to kitchen; did not give us option to sit at any open table towards front or outdoors. We are new to the area, and we heard great things about the place; and while the food was pleasant it wasn’t extraordinary enough to suffer the hospitality. We don’t think we’ll be back again
