   We were a party of 4 celebrating our Anniversaries together. Everyone we came in contact with was very friendly and knowledgeable about food and drinks. Jody, our server was the BEST and made our evening a great experience. The appetizers of prawn cocktail, French Onion soup and salads were delicious. The steaks were cooked to perfection for all of us. Thank you for memorable Anniversaries, we will be dining here again.

   16 oz Prime Rib of Beef delicious, very tender, cooked perfect and well worth the $62.75. Onion Rings was best ever! Service terrific. Best to bring flashlight to read menu in the subdued romantic light atmosphere.

   Our server, Scott, was fantastic. Professional, funny, appropriately attentive. All,around great. My friend and I had prime rib with Yorkshire pudding. The pudding was dry, no,flavor……basically uneatable. My mother was from England and I was raised with Yorkshire pudding. This was not it. Another server……not Scott, came and took my daughter’s chicken. There were 2 pieces left as well as potatoes etc. he never returned with them so we could take them home. This was not the case with our prime rib, they went home with us. We will of course return and request Scott as our server.

   While the service was outstanding, and the onion rings live up to expectations, the steak was merely okay. My cut was fairly bland tasting, though the baked potato was good. I did appreciate the valet parking as well. The attentive staff raised the experience far more than the entree. Thank you for the wonderful service.

   Ringside is consistently excellent in all categories. James is an outstanding server. I can't visit without ordering the onion rings, the best I've ever had. My only suggestions would be to bring back the hamburger and pull the popovers out of the oven a minute or two sooner. We look forward to our next visit.

    Always an incredible experience. Everyone is so attentive and the attention to detail has always been outstanding. You can see the pride in their work and the observe the effort that the staff puts into making sure you feel special and taken care of. Our server was Angelica and she really made our Mother’s Day dinner exceptional and fun.

    We made last minute reservations and the outdoor patio was the only option. It was much more pleasant than anticipated, with shade, music, foliage, etc. Unfortunately you have to walk through the kitchen to get there and half of the other guests on the patio were in shorts and tshirts which did not add to the ambience. Regardless the food was divine and the service was top notch.. We always enjoy eating here. I wish there was a dress code after 5 for Sat and sun ( ie no shorts or tennis shoes or something) or more privacy between tables on the patio. Highly recommend!

    Everything was great but we were seated in the brick ceiling room, which was VERY LOUD. The beginning of our meal was perfect, the last half, after a group got sat in the same room, was miserable. We had to literally yell to talk. We got so stressed, we got our dessert to go and requested the check quickly and we left. The second we walked out of the space we were in and into the restaurant that was full, it was immediate relief. The acoustics in the room with the brick ceiling is just too much.

    Service is always excellent, and the staff are the best there is. Food and ambiance is also wonderful. Ringside is my favorite steakhouse. Thank you to the staff that always make me feel good along with the great valet workers, who are also so courteous and friendly. Truly a great experience!

    I have been enjoying the Ringside's food and ambience since the 1960s, when I lived and worked nearby. I moved away from Portland in the late '60s, but enjoyed an occasional visit when I was back for visiting family or project work (I'm a consulting engineer). And I still enjoy the restaurant, bringing me back to the time when I was in my twenties. The waitstaff is nicer these days, however.

    It was my husbands birthday and we wanted to something really special, so we chose the Ringside and they did not disappoint. We started with the onion soup, it was delicious, our steaks were next and they were amazing, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Did I mention the bread? Fabulous! And then when we didn’t think we couldn’t eat another bite, they brought us a crème brûlée, of course we finished every little bit. Would highly recommend Ringside for any occasion!

    Just love the RingSide Steakhouse. It is such a good restaurant to enjoy a fine steak dinner. I love the their French Onion Soup and Onion Rings also.

    One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time! Jeff who answered the phone was kind and gracious. Collin our server was the best!!!! Food was amazing, ambience so nice…but the service was top notch. We were blown away at how amazing the service is there. We are huge fans. It was our first time but we will definitely be back!!!     Saying the service at this place is outstanding alone would be an credible injustice to the amazing people that work there. Their attentiveness to us as customers was unmatched. And the food was delicious from the 2 ribeye dinners (W/MW) to the crab salad, and a rare filet mignon that was cooked to perfection. Their sides and desserts are served in large portions.     I thought this was an amazing and romantic place to eat. The ambiance is wonderful, dark lit with amazing classic music. Service was amazing, the staff took care of us very well and answered all of our questions. We had the ribeye for 2 and it was perfect, albeit a little expensive. Great place for date night.

    The service was excellent and the food even better. The Ringside has been a long standing excellent fine dining restaurant and the care they put into service and food preparation is evident. Yes, it is expensive but the overall experience is worth it.
