PURE Thai Cookhouse is a genuine Thai shophouse-style restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen that features homemade noodles from a prized family recipe. PURE specializes in signature dishes you would find from the many vendors and shophouses from the farmlands of Phayao, in the North to the floating markets of Ratchaburi in Central Thailand, to the oceans and fishing villages of Krabi in the South. I've been to the restaurant a few times a year ago and had a good meals with decent price, but this time, I did not feel too crazy for my dishes’ flavor (papaya salad could be a bit more sour in the sauce, the noodle soup I ordered was tooo sweet to my taste) and my tab got quite much higher than expected even we did not order any alchol drinks for two people. Tables and seats are small and tight to each other which was known but also this time it was too loud and it is hardly to have a conversation. Not sure if Id go back again.

Be it the Thai Papaya Salad, dry noodles or Ginger Curry with Calamari, all were delicious. We will be back

Found this place to have meal before broadway show, and it was best Thai we have had. Service was fast and food was authentic and fantastic. Highly recommend on next visit to Hell’s Kitchen area

We needed gluten free options which that said they offered It was one dish. They would not offer to make anything else.Thats is not the way to do business!!! Good restaurants accommodate their patrons.

We ordered the mixed appetizer and drunken noodles (one with chicken and one with shrimp). Medium spice level was too spicy for me, but perfect for my husband. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I loved the Thai iced tea too, creamy and sweet. On the downside, the seating is very tight here and it can get pretty loud, but that won't keep us from going back.

My family and I had a 7 night stay in NYC from the UK and we went to Pure Thai Cookhouse twice. Amazing food with a well thought out menu. Super friendly service by all the waiting staff in a really cool restaurant. Can’t recommend highly enough!
