   Food is average. Appetizer salad was straight out of the refrigerator and tasted meh. Main courses were good. Service is good and friendly. Too bad the food is not better. Cozy place.

   Service is always excellent here. The menu is a bit limited, and they had run out of a few things. However, my friends and I always enjoy coming here for brunch. It's cozy, and the staff is always friendly.

   They need a proper chef. The coffee was appalling. The eggs Benedict likewise were terrible. The star of the show is hollandais sauce but there’s was not recognizable. Watery, tasteless with bubbles. Eggs were perfect. Bacon cheap and rubbery. Muffin so old and hard I could not even cut it with a knife.

   Very enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere with excellent food! Chicken with spatezel well seasoned and moist, arugula salad delicious! All diners had a memorable meal with excellent service!

   Excellent food and lovely setting. I enjoyed my branzino very much and my friend loved the steak. The butternut squash salad was special. Service was attentive. True neighborhood gem.

    Always solid. The limited menu is both a help and a hindrance, in that the kitchen produces it all well, every time. But, of course, if you're looking for a lot of choice, the menu is well designed, but it is limited. A little bit of a slip in the service this time. Perhaps it was because we sat outside, around the side, but there were long periods when we didn't see a server.

    Lunch was quite good for all 4 of us: croque madames, steak frite, gnocchi. only problem was few staff so it took a while to get our table and get served but very pleasant people. pretty empty too so v good place to go for lunch.

    I saw that it had great reviews and I totally understand why. I got the burrata, risotto, asparagus and tiramisu and it was such a beautiful experience in my mouth. The aesthetics also seriously heightened my time. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing. Thanks so much Marlow Bistro!

    The waitress ignored us as we waited for one couple from our party who we had said was stuck in traffic. She got my entree wrong. One server tipped over our bottle of wine, spilling it. They brought us desserts that we didnt want or eat to make up for it. The food is good, but the service really was lacking.

    I had a flight out of EWR at 7. An engagement that am in Morning side, wanted a nice lunch and the reviews suggested Marlow could offer same. In deference to the architraves ar nearby Columbia I shall quote Vergilius (Virgil) by saying Dis aliter visum eat. We just had a rather mediocre “brunch” menu. I have always eschewed “brunch” as the grazing territory of the metrosexual. Indeed such was the fodder on offer- bland and inoffensive. Notwithstanding the prices were paleo - if you will allow a culturally dissonant spoonerism “I won’t be back !”

    Delightful, solid bistro. The food was fantastic. Loved the chicken and spatzle, and the salmon with asparagus. Very tasty food at reasonable prices. Very comforting atmosphere too.

    The food here was better than we've ever had for this restaurant or its predecessor: the chicken and the branzino were delicious and portions large. The wine also quite good (argentine malbec syrah) and the desserts also delicious (coconut pineapple cake and lemon tart). Definitely will come here more often!

    Food was very good as always. Service was slow and we had to ask for things more than once. They ran out of hamburger buns…kind of a basic. But it’s a lovely place to eat so I’d still recommend it.

    This is a really charming restaurant. The food was excellent -- we both had fish which was perfectly prepared and delicious. The rest of the menu looked great and the special drinks were very good. The hostess was so lovely and accommodating; the staff really nice.

    I love Marlow Bistro for the food, wine and ambiance. The service is warm and attentive. It’s one of my current favorite places to socialize. The outdoor dining setup is lovely and well spaced for the pandemic safety conscious.

    The appetizer portions are generous and easily serve two. The coq au vin and sea bass were excellent. The wait staff were friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. A very nice neighborhood dining experience all around.

    Walked in and did not request vaccination card despite the mandate being lifted tomorrow (still in effect today). We were seated and provided water. When we decided on what to order, they did not have several items including pellegrino, sea bass or the entire pizza section "for a long time" yet did not provide any indication on the menu that any of these were unavailable. Waiter did not provide alternatives or recommendations. Moreover, a couple who had just walked in were immediately provided with drinks and bread. Did not feel welcome at all. Would not return or recommend- The customer service (or lack thereof) is horrendous.

    The menu is too "meat-heavy". I got the striped bass which was fabulous and my companion got the mussels which he found disappointing. Too spicy, not enough sauce, french fries not crispy. This is a lovely restaurant which I would love to return to. Looking forward to a spring menu that might have more non-meat options.
