    Great food and service. We had the dinner menu (10 courses) and everybody (including our teenagers) had a very good experience.

    The food was not good at all. Not worthy of a Michelin star. 👎. Every course had some kind of sauce that did not taste good. I would never go back. Sorry.

    We had a pretty disappointing experience here. First of all we were offered champagne at the start of our meal which was never revealed to be an additional cost and was implied to be complimentary so of course we accepted. When we got our bill at the end of the night our champagne was $150 A GLASS. That should have been revealed up front when it was offered. While I enjoyed the food, my partner did not enjoy it at all. The service was fair. Everyone was kind, but the whole evening seemed to have an air of anxiety about it - the servers and bartenders seemed stressed out and it made us feel stressed out. Some of the courses seemed like they were experimental just for the sake of calling the meal a molecular gastronomy experience - the textures made no sense and there were multiple courses we felt like we were given baby food. We were able to laugh about it, but overall a very disappointing evening given the price tag.

    Ambiance feutrée, cuisine ouverte sur le chef et ses acolytes puis service hors pair: c'est tout simplement un spectacle culinaire comme je n'avais jamais expérimenté. Que dire du menu? Délice et originalité, avec une magnifique sélection de champagnes, vins et autres!

    The braised veal and lobster tail were excellent and worth the visit. The jerky was very tough and the oyster dish was bland. The VR headset video was too long and the bit where the fisherman pulled up the trash was not appetizing. After such a weird intro I expected the oyster to be fantastic but it was very disappointing. The warm donut hole with maple butter was a great dessert and the cotton candy was a fun ending. Overall a good experience, but definitely needs some work to be recommended by Michelin.

    The only great dish was the veal with potato puree. The grilled lobster was ok, but nothing mind-blowing… The desserts were shockingly underwhelming. The artworks used in the decor are true eyesores, though…

    We booked a reservation the moment we heard Europea got one of the first Michelin stars in Montreal. The food was innovative and there were elements that make it a Michelin-star restaurant: a greeting from all servers while being seated upon arrival, napkins folded when you get up from the table, prompt service and a handful of dishes with memorable flavours. But overall, the experience was not worth the expense; and I say this as a frequent diner at Michelin-star restaurants in other cities. The service -- with one exception (the sommelier) -- was perfunctory, lacking genuine engagement, and a few of the dishes were merely average in taste, which at this level of dining experience, should not be the case. I hope they're able to refine this going forward.
