   Thank you to the server and manager who kindly refunded our calamari and comped our focaccia. The Focaccia was great, but would have enjoyed it more If it was served warm. We understand food prices are high nowadays, but it was a hard pill to swallow as the bill (w/23% tip included) was just under $100 (and that was for two pasta dishes). Thank you, also for the extra pappardelle dish, we appreciated (and enjoyed) trying the meal.

   Coperta is always a delightful place to meet up with friends you haven’t seen for a while. Whether you are sharing small plates or each ordering your own meal the pace of the meal lends itself to catching up conversation. Someone always tries the special and is never disappointed. I highly recommend sharing the canolis for dessert followed by an espresso and possibly a grappa. Cheers!!

   Great service and ver attentive staff. The calamari wasn’t a big hit. Very small portion of actual calamari - mostly breading. Nice selection of wine. Great cannoli. Not the greatest selection of main courses but tasty food.

   Celebrated a double anniversary here. Felt like we were in Italy! Lovely space, delicious food that was out of the ordinary. Loved that they featured rabbit on the menu.

   Everything was amazing! We had the most delicious fried calamari appetizer, followed by the rice balls on top of marinara, paparadelle bolognese, followed by the porchetta. For dessert we tried the olive oil gelato! Cannot wait to go back and try other items on their menu!

    My favorite restaurant doesn’t disappoint!!!!! I LOVE Coperta! ❤️. Went this time to celebrate a special occasion, took a friend who had never been there and he was WOW’d !!!! Our waitress, Rachel, was great and the food was spectacular!!!! I had the scallops pasta dish and my friend got 2 half portions of pasta!! He couldn’t even say which was better - he loved them both. Can’t wait to go back again.

    What a delightful meal. I have rarely had a better restaurant week experience. We ordered everything and all was delicious but the eggplant parmesan and pork were truly outstanding. Great service, casual and friendly vibe, and excellent food.

    We had the restaurant week menu. The eggplant was over cooked and the pork shoulder was tough. They add 23% to the check for “kitchen staff” Very disappointing

    Went here for Denver Restaurant Week and the food was delicious. This would make a great date spot and it has a very romantic atmosphere. The service was also on point.

    Everything was phenomenal from the moment we walked into the door to our final course. Each staff member was friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic and the temperatures were on point along with bright and exciting flavors. Our wine pairing was absolutely perfect! This was our first experience, and we were blown away.

    Our waitress was amazing!! She paced everything well. We did not feel rushed to get out to turn a table. She was attentive. She knew the menu and wine well. It was my birthday and she brought out a extra special dish to try that was amazing. She was kind and attentive to our kids as well including my 15 year old who didn’t like his dish at all, kind to quickly get him a different dish that he loved. Overall she and the atmosphere and food helped make my birthday (and of course my family that I was with) evening wonderful. I was fine with the noise level; it was nice to hear people out laughing, enjoying great food and service and having fun; for my husband the noise was on the loud side for him. Overall great experience. Unique menu if you like trying something new and different. Very good. Recommend.

    Super excited this restaurant will be around the corner from our apartment when we move to Denver! The food, service, cocktails, and wine were phenomenal. Our waiter knew about the food and made excellent recommendations. Don’t skip the focaccia, I make my own and generally find others’ disappointing, it’s DELICIOUS! Braised short rib may seem strange for an app, but YUM!! I would order it over and over again!

    Great service, very knowledgeable waitress. We were not familiar with Southern Italian menus, our waitress was able to explain in detail and make great recommendations. Food and drinks were excellent. This was our first time here - but certainly not the last

    The prices are on the high side, but we usually love the food and the service and like to come here to celebrate special occasions. Host was so welcoming and very friendly. Food was delicious as always, but menu has changed and there are limited vegetarian options. Also the mozzarella service needs to return, we miss it! It was our 10 year anniversary and we chose to come here to celebrate, but we got no dessert or anything special which was a real shame, although staff were gracious and wished us a happy anniversary in words. Asked for a booth when reserving weeks in advance but didn’t get it, but did get a corner table. Over $200 for two people for dinner.

    Coperta is the place that should be your regular local hangout - The menu is thoughtful, the food is absolutely delicious, service is attentive, the atmosphere is cozy. Everytime I visit Coperta I remember that I want to visit more often.

    The service was terrific. We were greeted and checked on by several of the staff and management during the meal. The calamari was some of the best I've had. The short rib was good but cold near the bone. I had the pork chop, and it was exquisite. The lobster ravioli was served with a red sauce rather than a cream sauce, which was unexpected and not to our taste. Overall a delicious meal and experience.
