   We enjoyed our lunch very much. The food and service were first class. But what really sets it off is the ambience and the view looking back at Sydney.

   Restaurant needs an update upstairs. Old carpet, ugly wooden chairs and toilets that look like a council facility. For the price of the food which is on par with other restaurants and nothing above I would recommend to get a picnic and eat in the park which has the same view or go to ripples in chowder bay or gunners at middle head for the view.

   An excellent lunch fir my birthday. We had the hot and cold platter for two and it was delicious. Our waiter was excellent and very attentive. We received 2 glasses of complimentary bubbles and ice cream with a birthday candle. I would highly recommend Doyles on the Beach Restaurant. Parking was easy in their carpark. Thank you for contributing to my special day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Fabulous location with a beautiful view if you eat on the back deck and good food, but extremely slow service. I waited almost 15 minutes after being seated for anyone to come over and take my drink order. Oddly enough, drink and main then came out in under 5 minutes. Would still go back.

   Venue stunning as per usual but service has definitely gone downhill since our last visit. The lovely waiter from Newcastle in England was fantastic - he delivered the Doyle’s standard we’ve come to expect over 30+ years (THANK YOU and I apologise for not getting name) but the rest of the staff were disappointing with no knowledge of menu or wine list. Toilets not befitting such an iconic restaurant; they resemble public beach toilets.

   The venue is well located right beside the ferry. The place is good and well maintained. The food is average but the price is high. We had the fish and chips, the bugs, the octopus, the tartare and the foccacia. Food was average and nothing special. Located right beside a major tourist area should have been a red flag. The pricing was very high for what we have ordered.

    Second time here. We live in regional NSW. Just as good as the first time-didn’t disappoint!
