Fabulous cocktail! Loved the live music. A wonderful guitar/ singer performed on a Tuesday night. Seating was a little unconventional (comfy chairs and a lower table) and i never like to have screens in my dining area.

We stayed at the Marriott for my daughters 16th birthday “girls day of shopping”. Out of the 5 girls, one has a peanut, gluten, and soy allergy, another has a peanut and dairy allergy, one is vegetarian, and I’m vegan. Several days prior to our arrival, I called the restaurant to inquire if they would be able to accommodate us. Rest assured, they were more than accommodating. The moment we were seated, the manager introduced himself assured us that the chef was well aware of their allergies and eager to work with us. Our waitress, Kim was phenomenal! She never seemed overwhelmed with the workload or questions that were asked. Overall, delicious and great service.. Would highly recommend CHOPPS

Chopps at the Burlington Marriott definitely falls into the category of "hidden gem." You just don't expect top steak house quality from a hotel restaurant. Don't get me wrong. This is still not Capital Grille or The Federal, but it's not priced like them either. The service IS as good, especially if you are fortunate enough to have waiters "V" or Lisa. The fried calamari is excellent with a light breading, beautifully seasoned. The clam chowder is fantastic with tender clams and some smokey bacon. The steaks are always very good (just a hair below CG quality) and my wife loves the salmon. Side dishes are delicious and generous enough to share always. The wine selection is modest (again, it's not CG), but they have a very nice selection of sub-$100 bottles, and a few over that price-point. Save room for dessert, because those are excellent, too. I love to bring the family there because it is quality dining and reasonable prices.

We drove for just under 40 minutes, just to try something new, after I saw some good reviews. Chopps is a gem! Our first-time visit and the food was excellent. Very good value for the higher-end quality of the meal, i.e. 8oz filet was $41 and came with a side of delicious mashed potatoes, AND a sauce of your choice. I substituted asparagus for $2 and got béarnaise. It was fabulous. Crab cakes were delightful and the creme brulee was perfect. The decor definitely reminds you that you're in a hotel. It's a little dated, and some white table cloths for dinner might be a nice touch, but it's not terrible and the lighting is low, so you may not mind. The dining room did have a cool huge skylight that was nice, we could hear the rain pattering lightly. If you're staying in the hotel, definitely give Chopps a chance, you don't have to bother leaving to get a nice meal. Our server, Michael, clearly cared about our experience by providing us with very detailed recommendations and incredibly attentive service, with a few corny jokes thrown in. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into how he sells food. That may not be for everyone, but he made our experience light-hearted and fun! Will be back.

Hello, I’ll start by saying this, we were seated promptly we had bread and water promptly. That’s the good. We had to ask three different servers for butter and plates. We did not have the typical dinner memo or the New Years menu, instead we had the lunch menus on our table. We asked for a dinner menu and received the New Years menu. Why weren’t we offer the typical dinner menu? We proceeded to order two appetizers which we only received one. Server never wrote other appetizer down. We were given three meatballs due to the long wait for the entree’s. As were about to enjoy them, the waiter quickly removed them off the table and said they weren’t for us and removed them. We ordered from the New Years menu as we were not even asked if we wanted the typical dinner menu. Entree’s were mediocre at best, I never ordered onion straws but they came with our entree’s The manger never walked around to ask how everything was. The server then proceeded to tell us his life story for the remainder of our night. Waiter asked if we were ready for dessert when we hadn’t ate half our dinner. We decided not to order dessert. The waiter then took it on his own to bring us two small chocolate balls with cinnamon coating and to top it off, the waiter brought us a to go container of peanut butter. This was by far the worst New Years dinner we have ever had. I personally do not think this restaurant was ready for this type of evening. All the wait staff seems to be running around and not getting any properly done. Obviously we will not return. I just hope no one else ever has to endure this type of experience at this restaurant..

We waited an hour for our meal, our waters never got refilled. We split a bottle of wine and then our waiter never came back to offer another beverage or dessert after our meal. A different waiter had to get us our check and box our food. Will never eat here again

Our dinner was part of the New Year’s Eve package. The salad, entree and desert were wonderfully done and the drinks were quite good. The service was good except That the shrimp cocktail that we ordered was not delivered. The noise level was not so high that we could not have a conversation without raising our voices. We also attended the buffet breakfast in the morning and were thoroughly pleased.

The food and service was excellent. My only complaint was we were seated under a very bright light whilst the rest of the restaurant seemed quite dim. When I asked the server if we could do him that light, she asked and they said no. I’m kind of wishing we had moved our table because it was annoying. Everything else was spectacular though.

Chops in the Marriott Burlington is worth as visit. Although it is known as a steak house, both me and my business partner ordered the salmon. It was cooked perfectly and the presentation was lovely. The bib blue cheese salad was fresh and had all the right flavor notes. The dessert was a chocolate ganache torte was outstanding. The service was impeccable--engaged and knowledgeable about the menu.

Nice quiet dinner with my wife. I personally thought that my veal chop was more medium rare then medium. My wife's seafood was a little bit salty which I think was from the chorizo but altogether I thought it was fine. I thought our server Michael was fantastic and very tentative checking multiple times without being intrusive

They should the restaurants that were available and you could chose the time when you wanted to eat dinner. I found it so easy. Chops is a nice restaurant with great food. My wife and I eat breakfast at Chopps quite often because of the relaxed atmosphere, good food, Starbucks coffee, and excellent servers, and when we have dinner there we're never disappointed - this isn't generic hotel food, it's really first rate. The extra thick bacon appetizer has a maple glaze and was a perfect start to the meal. My bolognese was outstanding and my wife's short ribs were excellent, and the portions large enough that we took home enough for a second dinner that weekend. The wine list has a lot of good choices without being extravagant. I'd highly recommend Chopps to anyone looking for a great dinner at reasonable prices.

We have dined at the restaurant several times and it was a wonderful experience. Last night was awful! The server was obnoxious and continued to engage in poor humor and attempting to be part of our conversation. He went as far as sharing his personal medical issues and the pt group he goes to. We have had both the starters and entrees before and the were delicious. Last night both starters were salty and the polenta was soggy, not crispy. The mushrooms were also requested to be on the side and this did not happen. The steak was over cooked and one of the accompaniments was missing and had to be retrieved. The accompaniments of the other entree were cold. The protein was left for me on the bread plate and entree plate with the cold sides taken away by a different server. New over cooked sides were delivered after I was finished with the entree. Dessert was delivered without us ordering it as we preferred to take it to go. I am also lactose intolerant and not able to eat ice cream. Dessert was delivered to the table with ice cream on the upside down cake. Needless to say, I couldn’t eat it. I brought it home to my child. Upon looking at the menu to see what the dessert was supposed to be, my spouse noted it was supposed to be served with gelato. It definitely was not gelato. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

A hidden gem! We came here on a gift certificate for an overnight stay at the Marriott in Burlington with dinner for two at Chopps. We were thoroughly impressed with the service and the quality of the food. Crab cakes were exceptional - made entirely of fresh crabmeat and perfectly baked. Steaks were delicious with the butter mix, so good that I didn’t really need to use the accompanying steak sauces. We definitely plan on returning, especially for those crab cakes!

My family and I eat at the restaurant several times a year, and it's usually a good value compared to "higher end" steakhouses like Capital Grille, Abe but our most recent experience was relatively poor. Despite the restaurant and lounge being not very busy on a Thursday night at 6PM, service was slow and "quirky" with odd comments about a former employer and "Rich Man's disease." The Veal Porterhouse Chop was thin, overcooked (I ordered medium rare and got medium well), and dry. The Petite Filet my son ordered medium rare was past medium. If the service hadn't been slow slow and strange, I might have called attention to the food problems with the waiter, but by this time I was just looking forward to getting the check and getting out, and even that took longer than it should have.

I’ve always looked forward to dining at Chopps. I was very disappointed this time. My steak was overdone, and it took 20 minutes to get another one. Our waitress very nicely offer me a salad while I waited. Then, I had to wait 10-15 minutes for a glass of wine while steak got cold. They are clearly understaffed. There weren’t many people dining there, yet there were long waits. And the prices have increased. Sad to say, I’m not sure I’ll go back.
