   What a gem! Our experience was simply fantastic from the moment we came in the door. This restaurant has a level of detail and care that many places just don’t get. Try the crostini ricotta it’s awesome. We are looking forward to our next visit.

   The location is great food tasty. We had brunch, the lemon ricotta pancakes were very good, I’d recommend them. The waiter was not very welcoming and we felt a little rushed. Otherwise, it’s a nice Resturant and food was good.

   Hostess told us it would be over hour wait after I saw available reservations every 15 minutes on your site. As I didn’t know when my friend would arrive I didn’t initially make a reservation. After being told that we stepped over to the bar and made reservations on your site for 15 minutes later and went back to the hostess to be seated. Tables were turning over quickly and we were seated. That service experience tainted the day. The waiter was great and as always the food was good. Bad business practice.

    We enjoyed a corner booth in the lovely, dimly lit Locanda Verde. The black truffle mushroom pasta, lamb meatball sliders, and Brussel sprouts were fabulous. Portions were generous. Plenty of food for two. We’ll be back.

    The food is always stunning. The grandmother's ravioli gotta be the best pasta we ever had. The wine list is great, service is very attentive. And its one of the few places in NY you can get dessert that is not too sugary or heavy, all is light and well done. We love it !

    Great place. Prince Harry and Meghan went there so you can feel privileged. Very tasty meal. Not such a big menu but the trout was succulent as was the bruschetta. Really tasty.

    Made a reservation for brunch. Sat down and was told the kitchen closes in ten minutes. Should have left but had quests. Everything came out pretty much at once. We were told we could open the table up if we needed. Drinks, although ordered first, arrived much later than the food. Dismal experience.

    Attentive, friendly service, by dinner server as well as bartenders who we met at pre-dinner drinks. Interesting menu— balanced and not overloaded. Intimate space, but good for small group of friends.

    Food was great. Menu was a little limited. Didn’t realize it was a brunch menu on Christmas Day at 2pm. I would have liked to have known that. Service was not great. Waiter was half asleep.

    Not impressed. I’ve visited your restaurant several times over the years and always been pleased but this time was sub par to say the least. To start (1) the water glasses smelled, like a dirty rag was use to polish them. The waiter forgot to replace the glasses and so we had to follow up. (2) the waffle was dry and overcooked (3) the frittata wasn’t warm and frankly not tasty. (4) We requested bread and it took forever to come out. Unfortunately, although I’ve been here many times, this one occurrence cost $95 would deter me from returning.

    They took a reservation for a late lunch and when my client and I got there they said they were closing in 15 mins for a special occasion. They agreed to sit us down as long as we ordered within 15 mins and everything that was brought out was cold and clearly no prepared for us. I love Locanda Verde, it’s one of my favorite places, and have never had a bad meal until now, but this was a very negative and expensive experience.

    I always go with great pleasure to la Locanda but this time was a total miss ! The Salmon cut was little and super dry my pasta dry but with tons of butter and not enough cooked ! My salad full of cheese no dressing almost The director very kindly took out the fish out and did offer us a desert so sweet pear pie it was impossible to eat . So we took a chocolate cake it was hard and full of coffee. I am normally vegan and it’s very difficult to find something on the menu. Salad should be just salad with tons of cheese. In Italy you don’t put tons of butter and you should offer an alternative with vegetables. Very disappointing this time may be it’s a new chef The waiter was slow and not too sharp
