    We weren't greeted at the entrance, and no one welcomed us at the restaurant. We had to go find a waitress to get out table. The chair was dirty and it stained my dress. The tablecloth wasn't clean and it was stains. The ceviche was amazing but the wellington wasn't tasty.

    Pedimos 2 hamburguesas pero creo que se equivocaron y me dieron a mí la menos hecha y a mi novio la más hecha. Mi no lo sé la comió antes de que me diera tiempo a cambiarla :( Sino el ambiente bien.

    My husband and I went for lunch for our 20th wedding anniversary celebration. It was a lovely experience and a wonderful way to celebrate. Highly recommend going and having fabulous food with a spectacular view.

    Booked an outdoor table and weather was beautiful the first week of November but then were told on arrival that the outdoor area is closed for the season. Service is excellent but price and quality of food is mediocre compared to everything you can find in Madrid.

    The bill for 2 of us was around €270, however, what I do not understand is the charge of 2x€6 (€12) for cover charge!!! Can you explain what this is for ??

    Look it’s a nice room, little disjointed service but service delivered with a warm vibe and really a willingness to get you what you want. Food was a bit underwhelming (I don’t eat fish or pork so I’m sure others can’t attest that the fish/Mainly fish tasting menu is what to do there). Food, not very creative or particularly tasty - in the particular avoid the ravioli, overcooked soggy and the mushroom risotto other than the tweal thing was a pass. Gazpacho was ok, nice surprise with the faux tomato aerated mallow thing. Servers, waiters bar and sommelier all very charming, Food just a bit so so .. €300 for lunch for one with wine and tip.

    I am a regular customer of Dani’s restaurants: Bibo, Lena and Dani. Yesterday I celebrated my weeding anniversary there. First let me congratulate you for the excellent service and to thank you the celebration card that you gave us. But these two things were the only excellent things yesterday. Ambience: COLD!, fortunately we found a table inside the restaurant and even inside we had to stay there with our coats. Even the waitresses were having the coats. This has no sense. Food: Excellent the guacamole and the burger but the salmon tartar was poor. Far away from our expectations. This plate is really far from its price. Finally we paid 148€ for one starter and two main courses, without wine and dessert. This is not an issue unless you are expecting excellent service (we had it), excellent food, just a part of it, and excellent experience, which was far away from our expectations. I think that you cannot charge that money without giving two truffles with the coffee, none details on this. So, we had an excellent wedding anniversary except for the restaurant selection, which we will not visit anymore. Sorry but there are many good restaurants around and Dani will not be in our list of them. Thanks. Juan Carlos García

    The Guacamole was meant to be spicy. We suggest you go to Lobito del Mar for a great Guacamole. Sole Wellington was ok but disappointed with moisture. Wines are extremely overpriced.

    We went to Dani Basserie on a recent trip to Spain with a daughter and her significant other. I made reservations several months in advance as it’s impossible to get reservations on short notice. Everything about the evening was fabulous. We had an outside table for 4 on the roof of the Four Seasons with a great view of Madrid. The staff was extremely attentive and the food was exceptional. It was the perfect balance of being attentive but not pushy or overbearing. We spent 3 hours at the restaurant and received the same attention at the end as we did in the beginning. It was one of the best dinning experience we’ve had in a long time. It was both fun and elegant at the same time.

    I should’ve checked Yelp before booking as the ratings reflect more accurately for this restaurant. We were seated quickly and asked for our drink order, Champagne? No thank you, we’d like cocktails. We ordered a vodka w/sparkling water and a Paloma. Both were fine. We ordered the croquettes and shrimp as an appetizer, I ordered a Caesar salad with chicken as my starter and the handmade tortellini for my main. My husband ordered the ribeye and mashed potatoes (fyi, they are not mashed, they are puréed. Looks like a liquid, sent back)for his main. The server asked if I wanted the salad before the main and I said yes. My assumption was that the salad would come out as soon as we finished the appetizer. This didn’t happen. They took the empty plates away and then we waited. And waited, and waited. While we were waiting for the salad, we asked if the music could be turned down as the speaker was right next to our table and it was quite loud. There’s was better music coming from the street performers down below. The server did get the music turned down. But it didn’t last.. it was turned back up after 1-2 songs. Finally the salad arrived.. at the same time as my husband’s steak. I was a little frustrated with this, but knowing that I’m a fast eater and my husband is a slow eater(especially with steak) I didn’t feel like it was going to be a problem. However, once I finished my salad I expected someone to come over and take the plate and bring the pasta. This didn’t happen. The issue I had was that ALL of the other tables around us were being serviced regularly. The table next to us did order champagne and I suspect this is why they received better service. Staff were constantly checking in on surrounding dinners..except us. When my husband was almost finished I flagged someone down and said I no longer wanted the pasta. This is when they finally told me it was about to come out, I didn’t want it. We got the bill, which include a COVER charge! Terrible experience.
