   I made reservations for Mother’s Day brunch and and am so glad I did! The restaurant is cute as heck, the staff was so friendly, and despite it being very busy, we were still seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time. The food and drinks were very good, and we both had leftovers to take home. It was an excellent value and experience. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend Mimi’s Cafe - Arlington!

   Mimi’s did an EXCELLENT job all around for our Mother’s Day experience. For the busiest day of the year THE ENTIRE STAFF needs a standing ovation. Reservation at 11.30–seated 11:40. Marquita was our sever & she was excellent in all facets. Coffee drinks took a bit of time but to be expected—when they arrived they were perfect. Caesar salad tossed with just enough dressing. Short rib entree was an incredible large portion with delicious Demi-glacé. Tiramisu to end was delectable. All served at their appropriate temps. WELL DONE!!

   We had an 11:30 am reservation and arrived a little early. We were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We were finally seated at noon. The plane was packed and had apparently over sold their reservations. Not a great way to start.

   Food was just meh. Photos on menu overhyped items. No sausage option as a side. Mimosa juices all looked the same and can with cheap wine. The cinnamon roll was hard as a rock. Waitress was nice and offered another cinnamon roll but we didn’t take our chances. Was a good price point and we ended up here as they were one of the few places taking reservations for Mother’s Day in our area. It looks decent, but felt like Dennys honestly.

   Throughly enjoyed myself at the restaurant gave off warm and welcoming vibes. The decor was very much rustic. I went with my family for my dad’s birthday brunch! Our waitress took the time to explain how things went when it came to ordering and what was the best item to try on the menu. I will definitely be back for a second time!

   We met friends for lunch and I had made a reservation not knowing how crowded it might be at lunch on a Wednesday. It wasn’t. We were shown to the furthest table possible near the exit when there were plenty of other tables available. It felt like we were not even in the restaurant. The server had 3 tables in our area (don’t know how many others). She was polite, but getting our 4 lunches took over a half an hour. She cleared 2 of the four plates and left the others. The food was very good and tomato basil soup hot enough. We had basic sandwiches and I had a power bowl. We were left to visit with our friends for a while whom we hadn’t seen in quite some time, with no interruption. Overall it was a good experience, reasonably priced and good quality.
