    First visit with the family. Although it was very slow since we went in between lunch & dinner, the service was attentive without being overbearing. Drinks were very good. Appetizers (wedge salad, lobster bisque, and Texas Quail) were all very good. Main courses: Filet au Poivre was OK. I made the mistake of ordering NY Strip and it was a constant battle to carve. Good flavor. The "sauce" was non-existant. Filet au Poivre should have a creamy (Crème fraîche) sauce. The strip was cooked perfectly. Double cut lamb chops were excellent - cooked perfectly and accompanied by a mint-based sauce which went well with the lamb. Lastly - the Grilled Gulf Red Snapper was brilliant.

    My wife and I have been to Dario’s many times and this time was the worst experience by far. Waitress was inattentive, had to ask twice to receive more bread, filets were not hot, slice of key lime pie was a sliver, waitress brought check before asking if we wanted anything else. Overall, not an enjoyable night. We will try one more time, then never go back if we receive a similar experience.

    We went at 4:00 pm for the Thanksgiving prix fix meal, as we did last year. Our waiter didn’t offer us the menu for that meal, when we asked for it, he said it was supposed to be over at 3:00. He then reluctantly brought the Thanksgiving menu which clearly said, available from 11:00 - 6:00. The whole meal was rushed, the waiter was not personable or attentive. It felt very much like a “get them in, get them out” atmosphere. Disappointing for a pricey holiday meal and for Dario’s.

    Food was excellent, service was slow but it was thanksgiving and it appeared they were short of servers. Our server was working hard but management needed to increase staff for a busy holiday. Will go back.

    We have been many times. They must have changed chefs and bartenders. Every visit in past I have ordered Moscow Mule for drink. This time the lime just overwhelmed the drink. All you could taste and very acidic. Sent the first one back. Second one was also undrinkable. Steak came out covered with pepper to the point itt was inedible. Very disappointing. But the service was great as always

    First time going to Dario’s and we loved it. Requested a corner booth or table for a more romantic feel for a birthday and we got exactly that. Service was on point, friendly and prompt. The food was amazing. Cooked to perfection and delicious. We’ve eaten at some of the “higher-end” steakhouses like the Capitol Grill downtown, this was 100x better in every aspect. It’s our new favorite steakhouse.

    Dario's has been our go-to restaurant for years for a great food, service, and ambiance. This was our 56th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed. We made early Sunday reservations (11:00 am), got our favorite table, and enjoyed an un-rushed meal with great, attentive service and great food. I've seen other reviews where folks did not have a positive experience. Everyone, including employees and customers, have had bad or off days, so unless there are numerous complaints of the same nature, I don't judge a restaurant with a one-off negative review. Fortunately, our experiences at Darios and the other Herrera restaurants have all been been positive. That does not say that every menu item I have had was the best I have ever had, but that doesn't mean other menu items are also not up to my standards. I just will not order a menu item that I did not care for on my next visit. We are very pleased with this visit as well as the others we have had over the years. As in most things, timing is everything.

    Not our best experience tonight. We have been here several times. Shrimp overcooked in the scampi, service after food delivered was very slow. They didn’t know there was an issue until we were done with our meal. To their credit, once they were made aware, they gave us a partial credit for the meal and a complimentary dessert to take home. We would return… but won’t order the shrimp with anything again 😉

    The food was great with the exception of my father's eggs and french toast...COLD! Everyone else's food was the right temp but his. The service was a tad slow (there weren't but 5 tables filled including ours so there wasn't an issue with too many tables to serve). And it took incredibly too long to receive our food (40 minutes, again only 5 tables). The food was really tasty though!

    Excellent food and service. This is a very busy restaurant on Friday and Saturday evenings so the noise level does get elevated but it is not to the point you are yelling at your table mates. The food is deliciously prepared. Conveniently located to the Cypress and Hockey area. I recommend trying at least once.

    This was a last minute decision, but it was a wonderful evening. The service was excellent as well as the food. We enjoyed our wine as well.  The only complaint i have is the noise. I didn’t think we were close to the bar but let’s just say there was a lot of vigorous, banging and shaking that was going on that evening with making drinks. However, I do highly recommend them and will be back.

    We came in on a Friday evening and it was just perfect. The service was on point the entire time. I had the chef’s selection sea bass that was paired with brussel sprouts and mash potatoes. My bf had the surf & turf also a chef’s selection with asparagus. The food steak was cooked just like he asked for it. The Rockefeller oysters as an appetizer were a 10/10 if that’s your thing. The complimentary bread was delicious I can vivid remember the cornbread. We will definitely be back as this was our first time here and we left very impressed.

    Greg provided exceptional service. The wine he chose for my friend paired perfectly with David's chicken. My dirty martini was shaken so well (with blue cheese olives) it had ice crystals floating on top and the Salmon was delicious

    We had a great time dining at Darios as first time guests. Our server Bogie was fantastic. WE celebrated a birthday and they were top notch with service all around! Food was impeccable, french toast, lobster tail pasta, crab pasta, fitel mignon, and pecan crusted red snapper- delish! My favorite dessert was the Blackberry Pastry- I was in heaven. THe key lime and carrot cake were good too. highly recommend and I'm a true foodie who doesn't hand out compliments easily.

    Service is always exceptional. I will always recommend the bacon wrapped fIlet because it is always prepared perfectly. The lobster bisque is so creamy and flavorful. Great wine list and not over-priced. Thanks again for a wonderful evening!
