Mother’s Day Brunch. Delicious with a big variety of dishes during brunch. Staff was very professional and made us feel very comfortable. Reasonable price. We will definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved the beef tartare appetizer, asada steak entree and the guayano dessert. The lamb entree was too salty for our taste though. I and my sister-in-law came in for our annual birthdate which we were hoping would be a more peaceful and intimate one. It happened that they were also hosting a huge dinner party (>30 people or more). Service was slow and noise level was high because of the party. The people from the party did apologize and were very considerate although I wish the staff also mentioned or even slightly apologized for these as well. The chef did take some time to come out and personally ask how we were doing so that also made up for the annoyance for a bit. Overall, food was great for the most part but price wasnt worth it for the level of service we got that day, and did not meet our expectations.

Had a great first time experience. Food was delicious, presentation of the food wonderful. Staff very attentive and very friendly. We sat in back by the kitchen so at times was difficult to hear the description of the food items we were being presented but overall a wonderful experience and would definitely go back!

Mexique is our #1 priority when visiting from Michigan. Chef Gaytan and his team provide an unforgettable experience that the pickiest foodies will appreciate. The mussels are a must! And the complimentary champagne toast for our anniversary was a delight!

Booked after reading Trip Advisor reviews. Had the tasting menu of 6 courses. Ceviche, soup, fish and risotto, duck, pork belly and chocolate cake for dessert course. Every dish was complex, with multiple flavors and ingredients. All were excellent. Enjoyed a pitcher of delightful sangria instead of wine. Only drawback was a slow pace after the third course and a noisy table of 6 across from us. Definitely a unique dining experience and one I am glad we experienced. I would not hesitate to return

This was our third visit to Mexique and we tried the tasting menu for the first time. The food was excellent and the wines paired with the food were amazing. The service was flawless. We will return!

Always fantastic in every way! Our server was knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. We enjoyed talking with Chef Carlos and our friends from South Dakota and Florida were impressed with every morsel. The dinner ended on a wonderful shared pairing of the chocolate fondant and glasses of ancho chili liqueur. We will return!

I don't normally write reviews but the food here was so impressive, I had to. The beef tartare in particular was absolutely wonderful. I'm sad I didn't try this place sooner and can't wait to go back for more.

This restaurant is one of the best in Chicago. We were celebrating our anniversary and the food was delicious, the attention of the waiters was very cordial, and the Chef Carlos Gaytan the best ! I definitely recommend this place.

We did the 6-course tasting menu which was adapted for my wife who is gluten-free. Every course was incredible. Each course was paired with a wine and all were amazing. Our waiter was very attentive and took time to explain the wines and the dishes. It was our second time at Mexique and both visits were top notch. Great atmosphere and a local vibe to the restaurant. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and could not be happier with the choice. Foodies will love it!

AMAZINGGGGG! Will definitely go back. We loved the beef tartare, creamy corn soup, and duck. The chocolate mole lava cake and the guava Panna Cotta were excellent as well. The ceviche and monkfish were good, but not as incredible as our other dishes. The server also made great recommendations and was very helpful with our questions.
