   Our food and service were excellent. We did not realize the restaurant the closing time and did not get to order our Churros. Our server Isabella was great and offered nice suggestions.

   I was very excited for this restaurant as I had read some great articles. The service went left from the door, when the host said we are anticipating a busy night so you will have 90 minutes for your meal. That means you’ll need to be gone by 8. Then it took nearly 20 minutes for them to take our order, and over 10 for a drink order. The waitress the. Rushed us after bringing us everything slow and late. She asked us about dessert as we were still eating and brought the check while we were still eating dessert. The cherry on top of the sundae was that the food (tacos) were bland and had little to no flavor. What made it worse was we ordered adobo chicken tacos and Carne asada beef tacos. I won’t say it was all bad the drinks and churros were very good. Maybe come for a night cap but this is a pass for me for actual dining ever again. Do yourself a favor and if you want a good dinner with great service go elsewhere.

   Carne Asada I do not recommend. Almost rare- along with very chewy. Shrimp tacos/Burrito’s were delicious. Nice portions. Swing seats were awesome!

   I went for Cinco De Mayo. This was my second time back in awhile. They didn’t have happy hour for Cinco De Mayo which I thought was ridiculous. The staff was polite and it was a nice vibe. The food was just ok. I was really disappointed that they no longer had the fajitas they were delicious when I had them the last time I came. I had the birria tacos, they lacked flavor and the tortilla was not crispy. The black beans and rice was ok as well but the corn was delicious and so were the churros. The drinks were strong and good! I only had two and I was LIT. Overall vibe and drinks 10/10, Food 5/10.

   Absolutely amazing dining experience from beginning to end. We parked on street about 2 blocks away. With our reservation & mention of Special Occasion, they ushered our arty of four to a most unique table with swing seats, a first for us! We couldn’t stop laughing! And then the margaritas oh my gosh so delicious and so strong. We were plastered in no time. The food was absolutely delicious and we all shared which made it even more fun. We were well attended and easily out of there in time for our concert. Excellent service.

    Go-to for a cute spot, strong margaritas, and churros! Quick service too. Only downside is the taste of the food (we tried most of the happy hour menu and the taco bar for 4 and weren't impressed by the taste).

    I’ve been coming to distrito for YEARS. The nachos are my absolute favorite. But the last few 5 times I’ve come they have come out with barely any cheese and Luke warm. Very disappointing. I’m not sure if I’ll be back.

    This was a very cute Instagram place the decor was so cute napkins pink overall great atmosphere. So glad they have happy hour on saturdays even though the menu was small but great choices love the rum punches for $5 d food was ok . Would go again for sure

    Our reservation was at 5:30. We were seated at the car table & told that we had to be done by 6:45 which was perfectly fine. We finished our meal & was waiting for our server to come so we could ask for the check. Around 6:50 a staff member came over to let us know that they needed the table & we were finished by then BUT our server never came to bring us the check. It was another 10mins before she came to bring us the check. We put our cards in & another 5mins before she came back with it for us to sign. She gave us 1 pen so we had take turns signing. I signed after my friend & as I was signing, she comes back to tell us that they need the table back. It was very rude to keep telling us that you need the table back but yet it was your staff that caused the delay. If it was that important to have the table back then we should’ve been seated at another table. We would’ve been fine seated at a regular table.

    We had such a wonderful meal! Everything we ordered was great! We especially loved the mushroom huarache and birra tacos, but everything was perfect. The service was also excellent from the entire team. Thanks to our server, Crystalle!

    The Mahi Mahi tacos were good. Carnitas pretty dry. The nachos were okay just lots of raw veggies which we didn’t like. We did get a buzz off the margarita pitcher but it tasted very sour. Don’t bother making reservations we didn’t get what we requested.

    good food, beautiful atmosphere. the area is in a downtown area but a lot of parking was still available. there was an issue with my party not being able to get our preferred booth seating, but the hostess assured me it was due to extenuating circumstances and should not happen again.

    As soon as we walked in with our 6:00 reservation, we were told we had a limited an amount of time - not a very nice greeting!!! We ordered 2 appetizers and then tacos for our entrees. The tacos came with the apps which we sent back letting them know we wanted them after our apps. The tacos came back twice before we were ready. The restaurant was NOT full. What’s the rush? Beyond bothered. And…we had tickets for an 8:00 show - not like we planned to stay the nite. Disappointing that the once fabulous menu had all but disappeared but understand that Covid is to blame for that.

    Everything was fine until a MOUSE came out of the blue and ran under our table towards the taxi decor they had on the first floor. It was disgusting! I informed the waitress and hostess. My husband and I ended up leaving. We will not go back here again.

    Food was amazing. We enjoyed our birthday dinner very much. Waitress was checked out and disappeared frequently. Had to ask other nice servers who came to bring food and refill water to get her 3 different instances including our check when we were ready to go and waiting for her to show up. The reception staff and all others were very friendly and polite. Overall wonderful experience.

    Sitting in the green Volkswagen was a lark. My friends and I enjoyed the Mexican fare. The guacamole was particularly rich and the shrimp ceviche was tart with lime juice. Everything came with muchas jalapenos, which were too much for some of our party.

    Have always loved the food here, and the super nachos never disappoint - the best in Philly. But several favorites have disappeared from the menu (endhiladas!!! horchadas!) The remaining vegetarian option - plant based chorizo and kale - was not fantastic in either the bowl or the burrito. Fine, but not spectacular. The mushroom huarache is always very good, and I wish I'd ordered that as my entree instead. The noise level on a Saturday night was cacaphonous and conversation obstructing.

    The three beef Taco specials were very thin with not a lot of meat or other filling. The bowls looked good but overall seemed expensive for the tacos. Beer was good value.

    Food was a little bland and they charged for extra salsa for it ? Felt nickel and dimey. Service was great when we first arrived very attentive but once we finished eating, it took 30 minutes to get our check and another 10 minutes for that to be processed. Cute vibes and tables though!
