    After asking them in the "special request" section when submitting an online reservation on a Tuesday if we could sit as close to the fish tank as possible ( my wife's 60th Birthday) we were put as far away as you can get even though the place was only at 1/4 capacity. Why would they even ask then ?

    We arrived at restaurant earlier then reservation. We were told by Hostess that we had to wait until our reservation time since the table were all occupied. Just like the Hostess said we were called until exactly at 7:30 pm and to our surprise as we walked into restaurant one half of restaurant was not even occupied. This was not good for us since we had been waiting to be seated for about an hour for nothing. As an area Accountant this was so uncalled for I hope that this gets corrected for the sake of restaurant.

    Receptionists were not impressive, waiter was trying to be helpful but had some language difficulties that made him less than efficient. Overall ambiance, service and food was not up to standard we expected from previous visits to the Kemah location. Great concept with the fish visible, that part is unique and excellent.

    We love the vibe and scenery. There is an off putting odor in the entire facility, probably from the fish tanks etc. We ordered the cajun pasta and it was horrible. I have no clue how it is one of the most popular items on the menu. We have had different styles of cajun pasta throughout the years and all were pretty decent. This one wasn't even edible. My son's grilled cheese was the best thing any of us ordered.

    I had a small issue with an individual at front desk in the restaurant. I immediately ask for the manager and Steven showed up with the best customer service. Once the issue was resolved, Steven checked several times making sure everything was ok. The food was excellent. The waitress very professional and nice. I give Steven manager 10 Stars. I am a very difficult person to satisfy once I am not happy with someone, and Steven just worked my unhappiness away. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    We ate at the restaurant inside the aquarium and everything we ordered from the chicken sandwich to the steak and lobster was delicious! Our server was phenomenal and it made for a great experience overall.

    We have been to the Downtown Aquarium for Thanksgiving many times over the past 15 yrs. Our boys loved watching the fish, sharks, and rays when they were young. Now they are 18 & 20, and they can appreciate the serene atmosphere during their break from college. Before COVID, we would always book the brunch buffet ($50 per person). This year, we did the seated dining room where we ordered the Thanksgiving Dinner ($25.99 per person). Each plate was piled high with white and dark meat, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cornbread stuffing and sauteed green beans. Delicious! Highly recommend!

    The music was too loud for the second year. Its Thanksgiving dinner, I should be able to hear people across the table. One year there was a harp player, that was nice. The jazz duo is good, but not for the buffet.

    We always enjoy the prime rib at Thanksgiving. There was none this year. Pork lion, turkey and ham. Disappointed.

    Great place for the whole family. Very kid friendly. The huge fish tank entertains the kids through the meal. The variety appetizer plate was great. We finished our meal off with the chocolate molten cake, plenty to share.

    Beautiful restaurant. We had a reservation at 6, no one was at the checkin for about 7 minutes. Once we got seated our server was great! My scallops and shrimp were delicious, but risotto was so-so. My husband's meal was good. Our great server got us out on time to get to our show. Landry's select app was great and we saved $25.

    Jerald was our server and he took care of our party of 12 people. He did an amazing job! Tiffany the Manager was also amazing. As well as Neyali with assisting in helping me book reservation.

    The service was beyond amazing! Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable! The food was delicious and presented beautifully! I have zero complaints and would come back again in a heartbeat! My visit was a treat!

    Scenery was nice as well as our hostess. Food wasn’t what I expected. Steak was bland as well as the shrimp for the price. We was very disappointed as we traveled to Texas and was ready for a great experience.

    The ambiance was beautiful. You feel like you are in an aquarium. The service was reasonable. The food was good. We had trouble understanding our server as it was very loud. There was a hard sell to join their club which we actually belong to. It is a great place for children and we will be back with our grandchildren. It was too noisy for a romantic evening. Best for families.

    I wish I could have given 5 stars but we were disappointed in the lack of importance of making a reservation for a special occasion. Made a reservation 4 days before dinner for 4 to celebrate a special birthday. Requested a quiet table with a good view of the fish. The restaurant was about 30% full when we arrived & we were seated at a table in front of the kitchen door where servers are rotating all evening….far from aquarium. Love the children but we were sat near several tables with children running around. I asked to be moved and we were moved two tables over. Walked to the ladies room where others were seated in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the fish. Pretty sure no one read my reservation request. The fish aquarium is such a great atmosphere. We were excited to experience your Aquarium but it was a very disappointing experience due to your lack of fulfilling reservation requests.

    We had the best time the fish tanks in the restaurant go from wall-to-wall there's huge beautiful fish it was very nice having a quiet dinner and watching the fish my two-year-old granddaughter absolutely loved it we will definitely be back the food was reasonably priced. Are waitress was very informative The food was excellent we had an amazing time
