The Bricks & Barrels Banquet Room is Charleston’s newest and hottest venue for private events. Our private dining room can accommodate up to 30 guests comfortably for business presentations and corporate dinners. We can accommodate up to 40 guests for appetizers and drinks for standing-room only functions. The room can be setup in various layouts to maximize guests interaction and/or focus on speakers and presentations. The room includes a large-screen TV with HDMI input for presentations. The private dining room's picturesque space is intimate and inviting, the perfect setting for wedding rehearsal dinners, more formal bachelorette parties, and intimate wedding receptions. The entire restaurant is also available for dedicated events such as business luncheons.

For a while now I have given up on Charleston for date night in general. We use to go to Fifth quarter when they were still around but chose to venture outside of our comfort zone and try new things. Hands down the best restaurant I have been to in Charleston thus far. I strongly recommend this location. The food was perfection, the service was fast, the noise level was low but they still played music which was appropriate and great for conversation. I’d say it was a little pricy but we got our moneys worth because the food was so good and the mood was perfect. All around great place and will definitely come back soon !

A brick-walled eatery with a handul of wine barrel booths along part of a wall is a clever concept, but execution falls flat. Instead of a fun experience, it was just blah. It started when we checked in and asked for a barrel booth and the bored hostess said they were full. Not true, I saw a bit later. A couple were occupied and a couple were for large parties, but one or two were simply stacked with dirty dishes from the previous guests. Our waiter did the bare minimum, taking our order and escaping as quickly as possible. It was that way the whole time; he made brief, perfunctory appearances and quickly vanished. Not sure where -- tables across the room were not cleaned and no one was trying. Maybe they were understaffed, but the staff was largely invisible and apparently not taught 'if you have time to lean you have time to clean.' The food, mediocre. My wife sent back her limp, soggy salad. The other sides may have been prepared, but looked and tasted canned. No presentation, just stuff on a plate. My $54 ribeye was tender and juicy but bland. My wife's pork chop was flavorless. We didn't bother with dessert. We had looked forward to this experience for a long time and regretted it. Everything we had could be found better prepared at half the price at a steak chain.

Service was excellent. My husband had the red snapper and he said it was very good. The swordfish I had was not very good. The glaze on it was fantastic but the fish had a strong fishy odor and taste. Overall, experience was good. Bricks and Barrels is still one of our favorite restaurants.
