I eat at the Brooklyn diner regularly and I’ve never had a bad meal. The service and quality of food make this an ideal place to eat.

We both had the Classic Pastrami Hash (peppers, onions, potatoes, pastrami) with over-easy eggs, rye toast with house-made preserves, fresh orange juice, and coffee. Absolutely delicious breakfast served by a top-notch staff -- great way to start the day!

Had their signature chicken noodle soup; delicious. My husband throughly enjoyed his vanilla milkshake and burger. Quick service, food out fast, good value for the price. High quality food for a budget 2 blocks from Central Park

For dinner near Carnegie Hall, not too shabby. (I know that's rather damning with faint praise, but it is what it is.) The matzoh ball soup is actually pretty good and a big reason I keep coming back. The help does its best.

Homestyle fare in a comfortable, relaxing setting. We were greeted by Jen who set the stage for a lovely lunch. We enjoyed chicken soup followed by a pastrami reuben and chicken pot pie -- generous servings and off-the-charts delicious. And we can’t say enough for the staff -- totally attentive. Great lunch!

Has changed its model from first come first seated to reservations via Open Table (except for outdoor seating on the plaza, which remains FCFS.) If you have ever had it at a diner, it is on the menu here. Kids love it for the menu and the fast service. We were seated immediately and offered coffee and orange juice. Our orders were taken immediately and served promptly. My niece's scrambled eggs were not quite as soft as she likes them but its a diner. It is a must for brunch with out-of-town family. Dress is pretty much come as you are. It is a favorite of New York celebrities and their visits are memorialized with little brass tags.
