    Join us at Altro Paradiso on Wednesday, August 6 for A Taste of Liguria, an intimate, one-night-only wine dinner that brings the coastal flavors and vibrant wines of Liguria to the heart of New York City. This special evening offers a rare opportunity to experience the region’s distinct culinary heritage—celebrated through a shared table, meaningful partnership, and a commitment to community. In partnership with Edible Schoolyard NYC, enjoy regional wines—including a unique bubbly from Savona, a salty Vermentino, and a floral Rossese—capped off with a classic Ligurian amaro. The wines will be paired with dishes such as Lasagnette al Pesto and Pollo Arrosto with Broccolini alla Romana. Seatings will be offered in our lower dining room between 5:00–8:30pm. A portion of each ticket supports Edible Schoolyard’s mission to cultivate healthy students and communities through hands-on food education.

    We had a wonderful meal here! The wait staff was inviting. The sommelier made wonderful wine recommendations. The apps, entrees and dessert we ordered were all cooked/ prepared to profection. We also really enjoyed the ambiance.

    The food was DELICIOUS, but the service left a LOT to be desired. When you’re paying $115+ per person, you expect a certain level of care, which our waiter simply didn’t give us. Had to flag him down multiple times, from wanting to place my order, to needing a refill of my drink, to even needing to remind the person bringing out our food that our plate was missing something we asked for. We went last night to celebrate a birthday, which the hostess remembered since I had it selected on our opentable reservation (and she also mentioned it when we walked in). And yet, never once was a happy birthday mentioned or were we made feel like we were celebrating something. It’s this attention to detail that a place as sophisticated as this should have, especially with the prices of the food. Would not go back again unless the service improved significantly.

    Very friendly staff from the moment you checkin through being seated. Waiter was friendly and attentive without being intrusive or obsequious. Food was great too!

    Food was very good, we had tuna tartare, pasta cacio e pepe among other dishes, plus Sicilian white wine. Service also very good. Restaurant was very noisy which made it hard to talk with a party of 5.

    Food was delicious but the service was not as good as it used to be. It took forever to get drinks even though we were seated right at the bar level. Appetizers were left to linger and sat on the table when primi arrived. I had to ask for clean flatware and to clear the plates.

    Really enjoyed our waiter in the food the ambience the flowers and all the centrepieces. Everything was fresh delicious and the chilled red wine with the lamb and fennel salad was to die for.
