   If I could have given a 0, I would have. Took OVER an hour and 15 minutes to get my burger and crab burger. The burger was burnt and the crab in the crab burger was cold in the middle and the bun was burnt. All the fries were soggy and some were undercooked. Everyone forgot about us. We had to ask about our food multiple times. It took 20 minutes just to get water refilled, and only because the table next to us happened to ask for water. The bloody mary was incredible watered down, and took 20 minutes to come out. They offered a second one and it had grease floating in the cup. They tried to say it was because they infused the vodka with bacon, but there was clearly large amounts of floating grease in the cup that shouldn't be there and that tasted weird. Likely just a dirty cup. They even told the table next to us that they were 20 minutes delayed bringing them a glass of wine because they were backed up at the bar. Really? They couldn't pour a glass of wine in 20 minutes? Worst of all, they wouldn't even take any of the food off the check. We complained, but the manager flat our REFUSED to take it off. He didn't even come over to talk to us to apologize. We weren't the only ones. Others sent back food and had other issues with their checks. This is NOT 57 Belle House anymore, it's now a Greek restaurant called Ikaria Taverna. It is horrible. The owner, who arrived later, tried to apologize on the way out, but if they felt bad about it, why did they insist we pay for it? I think he sincerely felt bad, but he was more concerned because we talked about the poor food and service in front of other customers. I actually feel bad for him, because his employees are so terrible. He should really clean house and start over. Until that happens, we wouldn't go back if they paid us. STAY FAR AWAY. At least until they close because they won't be there long at this rate.

   Great location for a business lunch. Not crowded, not loud, except fro some street noise -- could use revolving door. Back room is good for having a discussion. Food is very basic, but acceptable -- could be more interesting, but price is reasonable. Here is the problem -- small things make you feel like you are in a cheap place: plastic cups used to hold olives they serve with the bread. bread is cut into tiny slabs. Portion of fries served on a side plate with no garnish or any style -- same plastic cups for the ketchup! The place could be 50% better with 10% more effort. I may try it again, as the people seem nice.

    The decor was nice but unfortunately nothing else really was up to par. Went there for a brunch date on a Sunday, the restaurant was far from full but the service was extremely slow, never refilled the water, didn't bring the check... Those little things are really the basics that you don't even want to talk about but well, that was missing. The main thing in a restaurant remains the food and - well - it was honestly not good. It was a let down. There is so much to enjoy in the city I don't think I would come back. If the service goes up to standard and food is getting more attention I am sure this cute place would be a great location!

    Perfect location for this beautiful fairly new restaurant. They have a prix fixed lunch and dinner menu as well as a regular menu. The food is marvelous. We will definitely be back.

    Very well decorated. Looked like they were getting the waitstaff up and running so service was a bit slow but they took our order perfectly and were very courteous. I'd definitely come back for brunch or to check it out for dinner/drinks

    It's a new restaurant on 57th. I had a nice dinner with my wife after work and returned for a business lunch the next week. Both very good experiences. The menu and food are excellent and very affordable. I will return.

    We ate at this restaurant a few weeks after it opened. The food was delicious. We went back for brunch and again the food was delicious. The service is attentive and the atmosphere is charming. It's a great choice for the area. We'll be back.

    There's a happy and boisterous bar scene after work. Which means dining is a mixed bag. The staff goes out of their way to keep diners and drinkers at opposite ends of the room, but for the most part, the drinkers rule.

    57 Belle House is a good addition to a street that could use a few more dining options. In the very heart of midtown, 57 Belle House serves well prepared American food at reasonable prices, especially given the high-priced retailers that surround it. The bar gets busy at night, but it's still easy to get a table at 6:30 or so. Definitely worth a try.

    The manager of the restaurant was incredibly accommodating. We had one guest with many food allergies and they worked with us without any problems. The atmosphere was hip and romantic. The food was extremely tasty and the menu had great variety to it. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Poor service from a frustrated and disorganized waitress at a Sunday brunch. Probably the management's fault for understaffing. Not a pleasant dining experience. Maybe it's better for happy hour/ lounge dining kind of experience, but I'm not into that. Coffee was good.

    This restaurant on the cusp of the Upper East Side is still figuring out what they're about. They've only been open for a month, so the service was sometimes a bit shaky and over-enthusiastic. The menu was a nice selection of Italian Inspired New American cuisine. While the price point was a smidge high, the portions more than made up for price. The place was also empty with only a few other customers seated at the bar. The space was cavernous which I am sure will make the sound reverberate when the place is packed. Overall though a great dining experience.

    don't cook. Eat out all the time. Great place on E57th when you're in tourist territory. If the description on the menu sounds delicious, it is. They have to train their busboys to organize on the table and not involve the diner. Well be back.

    We really enjoyed our meal here and will come back with friends. We started with the chacuterie and the free bread and olives. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the filet mignon was possibly rhe best we ever had. There's a Happy Hour with discounted drinks and appetizers. It was a very pleasant night and we look forward to our next meal here. Go, you'll enjoy this new neighborhood gem!
