This was a lovely experience, from start to finish. I have to complement the entire staff, who were friendly and helpful, without being overbearing. The sommelier made some excellent recommendations. Really, this restaurant is a well-oiled machine!

I had high hopes for this place, especially since it came recommended by French friends. The food was decent, although the lunch menu had a very limited selection. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The staff seemed unprofessional—one server grabbed the water bottle by the nozzle, touched my friend’s phone on the table, picked up a plate and then put it back, and looked away while I was asking a question. We were also interrupted multiple times for no apparent reason. Overall, the service fell far short of the standard this restaurant seems to aspire to.

We went pre-theater, so it was delightfully quiet in the restaurant. I'm sure if the room had b een full, it would have been noisier. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The Dover Sole was wonderful.

We are foodies, and Benoit hits the mark every time. They have the best wines by the glass. They seek out smaller wineries, that are limited in the US. We've enjoyed not only the wines, but also the bistro faire. The staff is knowledgeable, so let them guide you. Best of all, the bistro is casual. So if you're in Midtown, or pre-theater, enjoy the wine and food.
