This is my second time to return to TaiwanNippon after their recent renovation. I had been a regular customer prior to the closure/reno, and was really missing this place. The renovation is gorgeous...sleek, elegant, and unique. Senior chef and main staff are the same, so food quality has not changed but more staff and clearly more customers means it's harder to get in and the place is very full. Still, it's a small venue and the vibe remains low-key and elegant, Fellow diners during both recent visits were polite and friendly and the overall atmosphere is very comfortable. Unique selection of natural wines and other beverages also available. I can't imagine anybody being disappointed by TN. It just feels, tastes, and "vibes" right!

A slightly hidden gem in Taiwan. Good is great and showcase the special flavor of Taiwan and Japanese fusion.

This is my third visit to Taiwanippon, and I can't get enough. It is such a chill vibe--no pretense. The food is impeccable. Perfectly prepared but not finicky. The plates and cups are the same. Neat and tidy but you're not afraid to use them. The chefs are friendly and sweet and the staff are incredibly accommodating. Everything about Taiwanippon is right!
