   We enjoyed a wonderful brunch. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the lemon ricotta pancakes, zeppole, eggs benedict and spicy hash. The food had great flavor and was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent and atmosphere was beautiful. The view of the water was stunning.

   Always a great spot - food and service. Easy on/off Highway, but with a view of the lagoon and Mt Tam

   Ordered a $17 glass of Prosecco served in a what looks like a martini  glass it was flat and no bubbles. They told me it was a fresh bottle. I don’t believe it. Explained to me bubbles only in fluted glassware. I sent it back While the bread appeared to be fresh, it was bland white bread, no flavor. olive oil and terribly sweet vinegar to dip Cacao de Pepe  pasta was bland. I had them add shrimp which was overcooked. My mate ordered salmon which instead of a beautiful 8 ounce appeared to be about 5 ounces in bland sauce.  Will not be going there

   Thanks for visiting us, Penni! We're sorry to hear that your experience at Piatti - Mill Valley was off. We take pride in our fresh ingredients and appreciate the feedback. Good or bad we want to hear about it. We will take into consideration what you said about the Prosecco and it being served in a flute versus a coup. We also understand that the pasta wasn't it's best. We are consistently looking for ways to improve and making subtle menu changes. We recently revamped the salmon dish to include a lemon risotto with radicchio and broccolini. It's had great feedback and is very tasty!    Sat at a high top with a view of the water which was lovely. The food was delicious, we had the wood roasted octopus and spinach & ricotta tortellini with zeppole for dessert. Yummy!

   Our server made all the difference. Amal is a credit to the Piatti's which we enjoyed for dinner.

   Overall our experience was very good. Unfortunately, the noise level was so loud that it was difficult to hear our friends. Three of the four entrees were very good, especially the eggplant dish. My wife's bean soup was good but not great due to a lack of beans. The food at Piatti has definately gotten much better this past year.
