   I had the Southern Breakfast. Just basic bacon and eggs, but the best bacon I've ever eaten. And beignets. The only disappointment was that they didn't have an espresso machine. They really should have an espresso machine. Nevertheless, we had a lovely breakfast. I highly recommend. Oh and the service was friendly and attentive.

   The fried chicken really hit the spot. Would definitely come back for more of that, and to try some other items, too.

   I had heard of Big Jones for a while, but never had the opportunity to partake. It was just excellent. The quality of the food was outstanding. While focused, the selections was broad enough to take care of someone like me, who is a bit picky due to diabetes. I will be returning. Excellent service staff.

   Chef Paul Fehribach's food is always on point. The spring menu is in place, and we loved the rhubarb tart, pickled ramps, soft shell crabs, fresh pea shoots, and more. A delightful experience.

   The weekend special of soft shell crab in tempura batter was excellent, accompanied by black rice. The skillet cornbread is a side dish we always order and enjoy as it is served straight out of the oven and hot. We loved the seasonal dessert of rhubarb tart topped with black walnut crumble and served with tres leches ice cream. It was a very satisfying meal.

   This was my fourth visit (5th if I include carryout). My friends and I enjoyed the food, the ambiance, and the great service. I highly recommend Big Jones if you seek a casual dining spot with EXCELLENT food.

   Everything great, but service still lagging somewhat in terms of timely execution (fairly lengthy wait between apps and entrees). No deal breaker, just an fyi. Servers were knowledgeable and professional, all the same.

    We had the Big Jones Benedict during the Weekend Brunch. The perfectly poached eggs were on their popovers rather than English muffins. It was delicious along with the potatoes O'Brian. Looking forward to trying their fried chicken and buttermilk biscuits.
