Sunlight Cafe was founded in 1976 by five friends interested in eating tasty healthy foods. It is currenttly owned by Joe and Margaret Noone. Magaret was part of that group of pals who established the restaurant and felt that there weren't enough places that catered to vegan and vegetarian diets in Seattle at the time. Everything Sunlight Cafe offers is all-natural and all-whole foods. It does not serve foods that contain white flour, white sugar or white rice. This long-standing vegetarian restaurant in Seattle has gluten-free dishes, as well as take-out service. It is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Sunlight Cafe is located in Seattle's Roosevelt neighborhood on Roosevelt Way. It also serves some of the finest espresso, including Kalani coffee that's organic, shade grown, fair trade and roasted right in Seattle. "Happy Hour" is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
