   We chose this restaurant to celebrate my birthday based on all the positive reviews and were not disappointed! The restaurant is very retro classy. The staff exceptional. Keith was our server and he was so friendly, engaging, professional and knowledgeable. He provided wonderful menu explanations and suggestions. I has the shrimp and grits. When I say the shrimp were like the size of baby lobsters, I am not exaggerating. It was easily one of the best I've ever had. Everyone else had the filet and said the same thing delicious, tender and flavorful. We will absolutely come back. Loved it!!

   Outside dining with a river view is a plus. During happy hour the option of two menus is nice and for the price, the happy hour drinks are pretty good. Definitely a great place for a casual dinner or a date night!

   Beautiful restaurant with a quiet ambiance. Service was a little slow and sporadic. Took a while for the bread and cocktail to arrive (simple Scotch/rocks with missing splash of soda). Salads were promptly served and tasted great. However, one of the entrees was incorrect and had to be replaced, which took another 15 minutes. Not a long time but there were only two of us so I waited while my wife’s meal was corrected (it was Mother’s Day). Again, the food tasted wonderful, although her filet mignon was now served a little overcooked for medium rare. We decided not to press our luck with coffee or desserts, especially since there were at least 3-4 gnats (I killed 2 myself) that were relentlessly wanting to share the meal along with a couple of wayward sugar ants on the table. For the price (just under $200 for 2) I just expected more.

   We had the special stuffed lobster and it took very long to reach the table and flavor was just ok. The fish itself was of good quality. The house salad was delicious. The cummber rosemary martini is not made like the menu reads and was not even made with vodka.

   It took about an hour for our food to come out, otherwise the experience would have earned 5 stars

   The Oscar on the side was all sauce, very limited crab - no crabs were harmed in the making of the side dish. Meatballs and steak were excellent. Sauce on the halibut was a bit overpowering. Time between aps and dinner was over an hour - they claimed it was due to a wedding upstairs. Cocktails were excellent and well priced.

   We went there to celebrate Mother’s Day . Everything was awesome from the ambiance to the food service and value . Our waiter was excellent and we enjoyed not being rushed . We will continue to return there for our special occasions

   The location is lovely especially nice at sunset! Food is always excellent and the happy hour menu and drinks are a real treat! Laura our server was a delight!!!
