Came to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and the service was great. Food was a little slow coming out but we didn’t mind since we were having a good time.

I brought my daughter and son to the Colonnade location for a birthday celebration. The reservation I made with open door was not acknowledged, nor was my request for a birthday acknowledgement by the staff.

not very happy on how close we were with the people next to us. I could not really have a good talk with my daughter because I had to hear the lady next to us talk about her day. I could see that she didn't really like that we could here her too.

Great food and exceptional service. The tuna tartar was exceptional. Our server (Rachel) was friendly, courteous, and professional. The manager greeted us more than once and quickly corrected an error with our order. This was our first visit to a Sushi Zushi, and although we have two (2) Sushi Zushis closer to where we live the Colonnade location will be our first choice.

We were visiting San Antonio, this was located close to our hotel (Omni). The wait staff was amazing. The food choices were plentiful , service impeccable, our order was perfect. And delicious!

Great food, great menu! We really like this place but the wait staff are horrible. We've never had a good waiter/waitress but the food is always great. I also want to give a warning to people with food allergies. . .beware they aren't great at honoring allergy requests. We went to dinner with a friend who is allergic to avocados. I ordered a sushi roll with avocados. My friend ordered 2 other sushi rolls to share with her husband and specifically told the waitress that she was allergic to avocados. When our food came out my roll (with avocados) was on the same plate as one of the rolls that they ordered. Luckily the other roll they ordered was on a separate plate so my friend just didn't eat any of the sushi on the plate with the avocados. It's also luck that my friend didn't get sick since the waitress obviously didn't tell the sushi chef about the allergy.

We have been to Sushi Zushi st the Colannade several times. The employees are always prompt in seating and very friendly. The sushi is amazing too. Highly recommend!

Love the variety of roll options and thinly sliced sashimi is my favorite! The food is always good and fresh. Service is friendly and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere.

We had reservations. We were seated quickly and ordered drinks but did not get the bar drinks for15 or so minutes. Thought that was a little slow. The food came out a little slow but service with our waitress was good.

They did not have the reservation in their system. Requested tables not available so we left. Contacted Manager Nancy and she will correct the situation. We are regular customers and Members of Sushi Miles

My sushi had a very strong smell and I showed the waiter and she took it to the back and she informed me that they told her it was spoiled and appologized for it all. I was disgusted as this has never happened to me before when visiting and eating In the restaurant.

Waiter couldn't even pronounce nigiri correctly. He didn't bring us anything we asked for; napkins, spoon, more water, etc. The food was really amazing though.

Good food and good service. Unfortunately the tables are so close together that conversation is difficult especially when the next table has a loud know it all bully holding forth. Ambiance was better when she left We both had the Chirashi and enjoyed it and would recommend it.

First time ever being there! I absolutely fell in love! Wish I remembered the lady helping us that night but she was amazing! Have already gone a second time since then, absolute favorite place to go now ❤️

It was fir my birthday it was just my husband and my daughter we have been eating sushi fir years and my husband had never been here yet he doesn’t like to try new places lol he loved it. We will be back for sure. Your restaurant offers items that other places do not that’s what I love.

We arrived early to try out the Restaurant Week menu. Not crowded came before 6pm reservation. We were seated promptly and our waiter Roel was 1 week on the job. He wasn't familiar with the Restaurant Week menu and wasn't sure about the drinks on the drink menu either. Despite that, he was polite and was attentive to our needs- whether it was for more water, extra plates, or napkins. When we received our food. It was subpar. We had the shrimp teppanyaki meal which was salty and did not come with rice. Rice was extra. The miso soup was watered down and bland. The combination sushi platter did not seem like it was worth $35- my choice of roll was the California roll. The dessert was the Krakatoa and the banana maki was ok. The salad that came with the meal was drowned in ginger dressing. Was expecting a more fabulous meal but got average. We had brought our 3 yr old. They did have high chairs but did not have a changing table in the women's restroom.

I went here after work with a colleague as it was close by and heard had good sushi. We arrived and we were able to sit right now and the waitress was right there with a smile. We ordered an appetizer which was very tasty, and three rolls all good (although the 'San Antonio' roll was my least favorite of the three as there was a lot of onion). The other two rolls were really good and spicy - short term memory has prevented me from remembering except one was salmon and the other crawfish. overall excellent and I will be going back. Finally, want to put another plug in for the waitress. She rocked!

As always, Sushi Zushi makes great sushi. Tried their version of tuna tartare - wow, that was excellent - loved the avocado and tuna together. And I always like their temaki.

It took 40 min to get our happy hour rolls. Our waitress was great but overall service poor. 40 min for raw food is not acceptable. No comps were offered either

Was hoping for Hibachi style Japanese food. Disappointed that this was not what we expected. For the price I did not get all the food I am accustomed to and this was more a la carte. The fried rice was toooo salty. We won't be back. Not for us.
