Such an amazing and beautiful place. My wife and I went to celebrate our 2 year marriage anniversary. The service was great from the moment we walked in. Very clean and organized. The food and drinks were delicious. I ordered a NY strip with mash potatoes and my wife had lamb chops with creamed spinach. Everything came out hot, presented well, and delicious. Overall, definitely a great spot for date night with your significant other. Great views as well for pictures. There is a $10 valet parking so that helped a lot as well. Enjoy!

This had to be the best steakhouse experience I have ever had in Atlanta, and I have been to a lot of them. From the ease of parking, the scenic elevator ride up all the way to the beautiful interior and the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, the place is amazing! And then the food came out and we were blown away!! A+ all around! I highly recommend The Capital Grille for any special occasion, ours was my wife's birthday.

We had a lovely birthday experience. It was clear that the staffing may have been down to due to the holiday but nonetheless they were helpful. One steak was overcooked as well. All in all, good experience!

We went on thanksgiving. They only had bar seating which was fine. We had a booth that was comfy facing the bar. Our waitress and other passing servers WOULD NOT LET US eat our food without trying to take our plates. I couldnt Enjoy our meal. Every 5 minutes she’d ask if she could take our plates. Really ruined my whole experience and I’ve been here for years on thanksgiving. I was Also annoyed that the meal which is $50 per person only gave us one tiny dessert per person. I dont Think I’ll go back next year. I’d rather eat a full slice of pie by myself and eat in peace with no one trying to take my plate. Also your servers shouldn’t suggest taking the plates when you’re eating bread. How am I going To eat the bread without a plate? Every 5 minutes trying to take the bread or my actual thanksgiving meal that had a ton of food on It. It was truly bizarre. Yucky experience. Sad to say the least.

It was Thanksgiving, very busy, yet meal was underwhelming. Wedge was drowned in blue cheese dressing, Filet ordered medium rare was rare, mashed potatoes were very good, but they were mashed potatoes, coconut cream pie was just ok, espresso martini was good. $130 seemed high.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate my son's 10th birthday. The table set up was plain. The restaurant didn't offer anything to make the day special for my son. Our server (Aaron) seem friendly at first but was inexperience. He didn't take time to properly explain the menu/specials. There were a lot of up charges our the bill that we were not aware of. The server tried to rush us out. There were 2 kids and 2 adults in our group and our bill was $433. The booths are too small, for a 6ft person. My seat was too low felt as if I was sitting on the floor. This was my second and last time to the restaurant. I hope my review is helpful to others.

We were in town for a concert and decided to find a fancy spot for dinner, just to make the most of our trip. I browed Atlanta's top steakhouses and picked The Capital Grille based off its menu and ratings. We were going for steak and this was one of the top steakhouses in the area but was one of the more reasonably priced places, so I made our reservations. When we arrived, we were able to find parking in a garage in the rear of the restaurant building. It was only $5 for 3 hours of parking which was a score because most places charge $20 minimum (valet was an option but I don't like others driving my vehicle so we skipped out on that). We entered the building and went to the 8th floor where the restaurant is and the hostesses were very warm and welcoming. I loved being able to see the cityscape from the windows of the restaurant - it felt like something out of a movie! We only waited about 5 minutes before we were seated. The tables were neatly set and we were served with ice waters while we waited for our waiter. We also were given a bread basket with various breads and they were all delish! Our waiter (I don't remember his name) was so informative and kind. This was our first time so he explained the menu for us and answered all of our questions. My BF opted for the sirloin which was immaculate, and I chose the roasted chicken which was probably the best, most flavored chicken I've ever eaten. We shared a side (which the waiter recommended because the entrees come a la carte and the sides are meant to feed 2) of mashed potatoes and they were delicious! They do have beer, which is not on their drink menu, but we asked and they have most common beers in a can. We did not do a dessert because we were so full but we loved the food, the hospitality, and the experience altogether. Our meal with two drinks was $140, which I didn't think to be too high considering the quality and portions. We will definitely visit again!

We sat at a table for 4 in the bar, celebrating a birthday. Our server was one of the bar tenders. The server said both bar tenders would be looking after us but the second one never left the bar. We were not checked on for wine, etc for too long. I know the server we had was trying and had just been there 2 months. For a $500 check we did not have service at the proper level. We will be back and see if it improves.

Most of the dishes were great except one, the massed potatoes. Service wasn't bad but could it been better for the money you spend here and the type of restaurant that they claimed to be.

Love the clubby atmosphere and the professional servers. Our server Kris was great.She was attentive & well informed. The food is consistently good. My continued disappointment is the bar service. They make terrible cocktails. The wine list is pretty mediocre as well.
