One of our favorite restaurants. We ordered the calamari and two servings of their different pastas. All came out great. The server was friendly and he helped us with our wine order and with suggestions. My wife and I really enjoy this restaurant and we will be back again with friends.

The food is always amazing and the back deck a great spot. It’s in an unassuming spot and the inside has a neighborhood restaurant feel. The management is so passionate about Sardinian food, it’s always a joy to come here!

this was our second time here. We brought two friends wwho were visiting from Chicago as a last dinning out experience before they flew back home. We were seated in the back patio with heaters. It was a magical setting with the clear skys and plesant temps. The service was fantastic, as well as the food. Our friends we quite pleased with their selections as well as helping with the wine choices. It was a perfect cap to our two day trip to Carmel. We will most certainly return.

Simply the best Sardinian restaurant in Northern California. The paper thin flat bread, the white anchovy salad, the spaghetti with fish roe, the octopus tomato stew are all fabulous. Highly recommended.

Excellent in a word! The bottarga spaghetti was magnificent - savoury, fresh aromas of the sea not fishy. Then the oven roasted prawn in pressed tomato sauce and parsley was hearty. Not quite the freshest of prawns. Would have been wonderful with real fresh Gamberi Rossi from Sardegna. Art on the wall was interesting.

After years of hearing how amazing this place is, we left disappointed. The room was cold. The staff dismissive and disorganized. The food was uneven. In all fairness, the white anchovy salad was delicious, but very basic. The equally good flatbread was super thin, crispy, drizzled olive oil, and dusted with herbs. But the pasta dishes were gummy, tepid, and kind of one dimensional. We arrived full of eager anticipation and left deflated. At least the prices were reasonable.

A neighborhood gem that never fails to deliver on their menu! Cheryl the owner is AMAZING! She makes you feel like you are dining in her home with her. From the baby octopus tomato stew to the pork sugo with fettuccini to the incredible chocolate panna cotta with honey and hazelnuts- it all was best in show. We only wished that the service was at the same level of food we enjoyed.

Warm and accommodating hostess! We showed up early but she made space for us and than our waitress was as nice and helpful with solid suggestions on both food and wine. Get the squid and baby octopus! So tender they melt in your mouth! Try the Torbato sparkling wine too. Not only is it a rare Sardinian grape but they both a bubbly and a still version…get the bubbly! Warm experience overall! I have to go back to try more wines from the list and I NEED to try the pastas!!

This was a great neighborhood find near our friends new apartments. Food and wine from Sardinia up front - bottarga, an awesome pasta with sea urchin, and a solid branzino dish. Staff was efficient and knowledgeable, fellow diners were friendly at the close tables. It is a small space, and tables are small and close to one another. We really enjoyed our visit, and we would gladly revisit. Oh - we had a great vermentino with skin contact, and a malvasia both by the glass, and the server suggested a delicious bottle of Cananaou - if you don't know these wines, don't hesitate to ask for a recommendation.

I took my partner to La Ciccia for our anniversary. The place is cute, the food is not bad. However, the portion is small. We ordered appetizer, first course, main course they all looked like appetizer’s sizes, when the second course came my partner said “I am afraid we will leave here hungry”.

Best classic Italian experience I’ve had in years, Sheryl the owner is on top of every detail and service staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The baby octopus in rich sauce it’s a must but all dishes are amazing as well. Can’t wait to come back!!
