About this restaurant

Launched in 2012, Soba Sojibo is the first US branch of the Japanese Soba Sojibo restaurant chains. Focusing on handcrafted Japanese soba noodles, Soba Sojibo offers one a taste of these extremely specialized handmade noodles. Dunked in ice cold water during their preparation, soba noodles are served hot or cold with a thick broth and other accoutrements including wasabi, tempura, ebi, tororo, natto and more. The menu offers a lot of variety with Soba Sojibo combinations available in rice bowl form, with cold broth or hot broth. First time diners can choose from the pre-made combinations while seasoned soba diners usually opt to enjoy their own combinations. With daily lunch specials as well as a desserts menu that offers dishes like the green tea crme brulee, diners at Soba Sojibo can expect a very diverse and exotic culinary experience. Unfortunately, Soba Sojibo closed its doors permanently in 2015.
