In 1974, George and his wife Joan ventured out to what was then considered the country. They found the perfect location on the shores of Diamond Lake. A great deal has changed since then, but our commitment to service and great food hasn’t. We welcome you to visit and see what’s new. It’s the Gale Street you love and remember with a more comfortable and updated atmosphere.     Had a wonderful experience celebrating Father’s Day here! The atmosphere was lively, the staff was so kind and welcoming, and to top it off, we received a thoughtful card and a rose — such a special touch. Compliments to the chef — every dish was delicious and clearly made with care. Thank you for making the day feel extra meaningful!

    Ribs are always great. We also had the mussels in red sauce they were large and great as well. Service overall was good, except when we asked the server to box our leftovers….we know that’s the program since Covid but we don’t appreciate managing leftovers and packaging. We got a frowning face when we asked for that assist.

    Our server was awesome! Gale Street Inn is bright and inviting. The food was good and a bit overpriced. I would go again but it wouldn’t be an “ often” eating site.
