Antico is an independent, chef-owned Northern Italian restaurant in Bucktown, Chicago, celebrated for our fresh, seasonal ingredients and rustic yet elegant atmosphere. Our menu offers Northern Italian dishes centered on freshness and high quality, with most menu items including pasta, gnocchi, and gelato prepared in-house daily. Those we don't make are imported directly from the best sources in Italy, such as our Prosciutto di Parma, Parmigiano Reggiano, and Mozzarella di Bufala from Campania. Consistent with our approach to food, we carefully select Northern Italian wines from smaller, passionate winemakers who share our commitment to quality. By selecting wines from the same specific regions in Northern Italy that inspire our menu items, we take advantage of the historical relationship created by centuries of both food and wine evolving together to create the perfect match.

Outstanding! We had a four course meal for about $80 each. The food was incredible. Lots of left overs. The pate was wonderful. The gnocchi with brown butter and sage was amazing. All of the pastas are made fresh and really tasty. We also had the filet and it was perfectly cooked with a wood fire. Lastly the limone tort was light and a sweet touch to a wonderful meal. We will back again! Thank you Ryan for taking great care of us.

Food and service are always fantastic. Our group had Scallops, Gnocchi and Duck Risotto. Paired with a wonderful bottle of red. Host and server were pure class. Can’t wait to go back

The ambience was amazing. My recommendation is make sure you have a reservation for garden because it’s so quiet and peaceful. It’s amazing for the date night and the food. it was so delicious thank you for the great service and great food !!

This is the definition of a neighborhood gem. The freshly made pasta is outstanding. Really, everything on the menu that we have tried is great, but it is hard not to just keep getting the pasta. The drinks and wine list is excellent as well, and the service is helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Antico.

A hidden (or not so hidden) gem! Their food is always amazing. Service is spectacular. And their outdoor covered patio is so nice year round but especially nice in the winter, they keep it nice and warm back there.

Incredible, focus is on highest quality homemade ingredients — food is delicious and experience is authentic, can really feel the passion and care. Met the chef owner Brad at a gelato tasting in the neighborhood with my kid, we knew right away after meeting and tasting the all natural gelato that we had to try the restaurant — did not disappoint, bookmarking on my go-to local spots list!

Came here for dinner after graduation. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable and really explained the menu. We did the Q price which meant we got an antipasti, secondi, entre, and desert for only $30~ more than if you just got the entre. Food was spectacular! Will be going back!
