We LOVE Lou Malnati’s thin crust pizza, and when you add extra sauce it is PERFECT! Used to live in Naperville and moved to Florida. Miss their pizza so much. Always go there when we go back to visit!

I made reservations and pre ordered our pizza so what could go wrong… Almost everything! I had to wait for a booth to be cleaned , I sat down and both seats were still wet I found out when i sat down . I took napkins off another table to dry everything myself as a server walked by not offering to help. The menus were stuck to the table because nothing was dried after cleaning . And i’m not talking about little damp! We asked the server how long for our pre ordered “Deep cheese butter crust”pizza. Both me and my guest were starving coming straight from work . She said 15 minutes which seemed about right just to warm a pre ordered pizza. So after 25 minutes the server came back making excuses why the pizza wasn’t done , she offered a comp appetizer so we picked what we thought was the fastest app to make ,Bruschetta . About 15 minutes later our pizza comes out before the appetizer. More excuses . We ate the pizza and boxed the bruschetta The manager never came over to apologize but he did comp most of the bill , and my niece was given a dessert for her birthday we were celebrating . It was not that busy and our order could not have been easier . The Naperville location has always been my favorite not sure what going on there but there’s lots of training opportunities that should happen after this type of customer experience!

As always, this was the perfect end to the work week. A delicious salad and a fantastic pizza on a breezy patio. The staff took great care of us and we were able to relax while we dined and watched Naperville walk past.

As always, tasty pizza, nice ambience, and friendly service. If you've never been to Lou Malnati's downtown Naperville, give it a try. Be warned though if you go on a Friday or Saturday evening, allow extra time to find a parking spot. Tip: if you can't find surface lot space behind Lou's; there is a public parking garage on the next block north (garage is northeast of Lou's) behind Lou's. Enjoy!

Everything was fine except our waiter put in our order as a cheese pizza rather than a sausage pizza. Still good, just not as excellent as it could have been!
