   This was the best meal I had during my entire Japan trip that included Tokyo, Kyoto, Okinawa. The staff are the best and the food is excellent.

   We had a fantastic time at T Nakameguro. They prepare the signature beef in many ways so you can experience the depth and complexity of flavor ranging from a tartare, to a juicy lobster tail pairing, to the main course of a good portion of grilled sirloin and tenderloin from the T-Bone cut. Was a total of 9 courses when we went, friendly staff and a fun layout all sitting at a bar surrounding the kitchen so you can see all the preparation and interact with staff and other guests as you like.

   Note that this is a tourist spot, not an authentic Japanese experience. That said it was definitely a fun experience. The dishes are interesting and inventive but for me the best course was when they simply presented hunks of filet and sirloin with various salts. Each course is presented in English with plenty of opportunities to take dramatic photos. The second best dish for me was the bone broth. Apparently everyday they add the huge bones to a stock pot and remove the one from the day before. Incredibly rich, tasty broth. They have a small wine selection by the glass, and several sakes and whiskeys. But certainly a good value for the amount of beef you get. One weird thing was they gave us a “souvenir” of beef stroganoff! Odd since we were almost all tourists staying in hotels.

   This dinner was incredible. They explain each dish and educate you on the ingredients. They also had the best 90’s R&B playlist going that really made our night. Highly recommend this for anyone wanting to try high quality wagyu while in Tokyo!

   fantastic experience - well worth the price. Experience the taste of omi beef in all the possible ways & learn about the food in the process. Great concept from the head chef and outstanding service from all the staff. A wonderful night out!

    Our family had an amazing dining experience here. Come hungry because there will be plenty to eat. We couldn’t even finish everything. The pace of the meal was perfect and every bite was memorable. The Omi beef wagyu was tender and melt in your mouth. Don’t miss this restaurant when you visit Tokyo.
