This is a restaurant we love and return to over and over. Since they removed the entre portion of chicken meatballs over angel hair pasta, we always order the meatballs and ask them to add the angel hair. We never had an issue before. Last night the server gave us meatballs with a side of angel hair instead of a meal. There wasn’t as much pasta ( certainly enough to eat, but we always take leftovers to enjoy another meal). In addition I think we probably got charged too much-the meatball appetizer and the side of pasta rather than just a meal portion. I didn’t say anything to our server at the time but it’s been bothering me as the woman at the next table ordered the same thing and had a huge plate of pasta with her meatballs. I specifically asked her to make a dinner out if the meatballs and pasta together. The food was still delicious and we will return, but this annoyed me the more I thought about it. So, since you asked, I’m sharing.

My go to is eggplant parmesan, however my attention was diverted to the brown butter and sage gnocchi with mushrooms. An excellent choice because they were like melt in the mouth pillows of flavor. Mushrooms added another element of flavor. This may be my go to from now on.

I ordered limoncello mule. It was dimly flat and nothing to do with classic Italian drink. So dissatisfied. Food is always good. Very loud in there.

Asked server to take off the service charge and she did not. When we split the bill, we told her a specific amount to on each credit card ($51) and she did not pay attention to what we asked. She charged each card at $42. This meant we had to come up with cash for the balance. We were tipping her separately with cash. The restaurant was packed for a Wednesday night, and our server had many tables. Overall food was very good, but I wold not rush back. We had a 5:00 reservation and did not walk out of the restaurant until almost 8:00pm.

We let them know when making the reservation. We got a very crappy table that we were crammed in instead of a booth even though booths were available. My husband said since they care about special occasions so little we will never be back.

We arrived early for our reservation & were seated early. The room was bright and conversation friendly. Crystal provide excellent service & information. We started with the Caesar salad and minestrone which was very fresh. The bread and olive oil/gardiniera was very tasty. Cheese ravioli with meat sauce & angel hair pomodoro with well seasoned shrimp did not disappoint. All the food was delicious & we definitely have enough for leftovers.

The food was very good as always. Made reservations and was seated right away. Our server was very very good, attentive and very professional. The only thing which was not liked and very distasteful is they tried to charge a 3% restaurant surcharge. This angered us very much and discussions arose from this craziness. They did take it off the bill, but I guarantee if they continue this policy, myself and my colleagues will not return.

Loved the food & the service but the 3% surcharge added to the bill (which you can asked to be removed) and even more so, the $2.50 charge for "rocks" (had Manhattan "on the rocks") is unconsionnable.

The food is delicious, the drinks are overpriced. A 6oz glass of wine averages $15, and now they have a 3oz pour for less. 3oz?? Seriously? I know restaurants need to make money too, but come on. You can buy a bottle for $20.

Such a great experience, I left in the notes to do a secret birthday surprise and the message was relayed so well to the waiter :) usually when I put that it’s someone’s birthday other restaurants ignore the message so I’m glad they were so attentive to us, great experience!

My husband and I stopped here as we often do for a quick bite after a movie. The service is impeccable our server Daniela was efficient, courteous and hospitable, as usual always a great place for a nice glass of Cabernet and pasta.

The most pillowy and light gnocchi ever, great staff very accommodating! Would go back just for the bread they bring to the table with olive oil Parmesan and Giardiniera, that bread is perfectly crusty on the outside and pillow in the middle.

The food was outstanding. The fried calamari and the eggplant in the parmesan where exceptionally crispy and light. Our waiter was perfect. I had gone there with a cousin I hadn't seen in a while a few months back. We held a table for about three hours. Lots of catching up to do and no one rushed us. A few days ago, I was happy to bring my husband and a work colleague of his there. They both loved it as much as I did.

We were a group of 6 friends, celebrating a retirement. Hector was our waiter and provided such attentive service and brought our friend a celebration dessert. We all ordered different food items and everything was delicious. We did not feel rushed and were able to sit and socialize while enjoying lunch and dessert. Thanks for a wonderful luncheon.
