Krapil's the Great Steak, a Worth, Illinois staple, serves sumptuous steaks and other classic American fare. It is simply a suburban oasis. An unexpected serene outpost that transports you away from the city hustle and bustle to an old school Northwoods supper club surrounded by giant pine trees. The food is classic supper club fare with some modern twists. The Prime Rib dinner and The Fish fry are staples that will not disappoint. The menu is rounded out with steakhouse specialties and is supplemented by a hospitality level you more commonly found in a downtown restaurant

Krapil's also has the premier patio n the south side with live music on the weekends. There are plenty of private event opportunities available both inside and outside and Krapils has menus to accommodate every occasion and budget.

My wife and I are in the north side of the city and the trip to Worth to Krapil’s is always worth it! We made our own surf and turf. She had the shrimp (like six jumbo breaded) and I had a 16 oz New York Strip which we shared. Mary, our waitress, was as sweet as could be and saw to our every need. I’m hungry and want to go again as I write this review a day later!

My wife and I were looking forward to spending our 45th wedding anniversary with our kids and grandkids. Our drinks were promptly served. We then placed our food order. 15 minutes later, our server came back and said they were all out of crab cakes. I promptly switched to the ribs. 15 minutes later, our server notified us that the salmon also wasn’t available. We asked for a menu so that we could make another selection. Again, 15 minutes later, she brought the menu. After about 10 minutes, she returned and we ordered the white fish. About 15 minutes later, our server returned to tell us they were also out of white fish. We again asked or server to bring a menu so that we could make another selection. After about 10 minutes so that we could order the shrimp dinner. After about 20 minutes, the food was delivered - minus ketchup, coleslaw, sour cream, and steak sauce. The ketchup and steak sauce was delivered. The coleslaw was delivered by the manager after our meal was complete - we are still waiting for the sour cream. When the manager delivered our coleslaw, we expressed our frustration. So she provided our table of 7 with 3 slices of key lime pie. Again falling short. At that time we requested our check. It was promptly brought to us in the check holder minus the check. We had to tell them that the check was missing and about 5 minutes later, the check was then provided. On the check there was a deduction for the “complimentary “ key lime pie. There was also a deduction for 1 of the drinks we had ordered. In later review of the check, we were actually double charged for that drink. After having to wait 2 hours to get our food, and constantly request the other parts of our meal that were ordered to be delivered, we were only comped for the “complementary “ key lime pie. To add to the insult, there was a “large party tip” of 20% ($76.10) added to the check. Krapil’s is capable of better things, but our experience last night fell far short of past experiences.

Our whole family enjoys dinner @ Krapils! The steak is great! And many other dishes to try! Love coming here!

Bad experience, staff not willing to accommodate simple requests, will never return here. Primal cut and Seasons 52 will get my business in the future.

Such a great ambiance! Beautiful night on the patio. Sitting outside is like you are on vacation. Decor transports you to another world. Such delicious food and attentive service. Amazing steak! Thanks, Krapil's. Such a nice night out with friends!

Service was excellent, Marissa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, we never to look for her she kept tabs on us without hovering. We had a table for four outdoors on the charming patio. One had coconut shrimp which she said was delicious, shrimp were quite large and her baked potato could have fed 3 people. Another had steak medallions and was happy with those, they were flavorful and cooked perfectly. I had the filet sliders with garlic butter and they were very tender. The last had a burger that had a nice char on it. Atmosphere is awesome there, very relaxed and casual.

Real nice establishment that I will be going to again, I need to experience the huge outdoor area they have! With a fire pit, live band and bar. The food was delicious and well priced. I had filet mignon steak sandwiches for my entrée. For appetizers we had the shrimp which were sooooo good! And the garlic pull apart bread was BEYOND DELICIOUS 🤤🤤. Our service was great, she was real friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations.

We met friends for dinner at Krapil’s and had a wonderful time. Great value for delicious food! Our waitress was Jill and she was fabulous! Loved the old school feel and that our meals came with soup or salad and your choice of side dishes! Well done!
