Normally I don't leave reviews because normally I've never had much issues dining out but I'm making an exception to the rule this time: Making a reservation was fine and we arrived on time for the table. After waiting for about 10 min or so for the performance that just started to end (completely understand to not walk in the middle of one) we were taken to our table----in the back. By the bathrooms and kitchen door. Not one other person was seated around us and upon arrival there were a few tables up front that were completely open. I didn't see anything in the reservation section that you could select tables---I certainly wouldn't have selected there especially when people were rushing to the bathroom between performances and essentially "hanging out" next to our table (BTW: when someone "blows up" the restroom the smell flowed right to our direction while we were eating). What really infuriated us was the fact that other people walked in the door after us and were seated up front. Hint: You can't see the performance when your back is to them and the entertainers hang out where the tips are flowing (ie: up front). Unfortunately my food didn't make up for the seating arrangement. I had the "Mae West" and for $28, I expected more than what I paid for. The breading on the chicken was not very good and the cheddar mashed potatoes tasted like microwave instant potatoes with some cheese shreds tossed on top---I've never had potatoes that bland before. The cayenne syrup had zero kick to it. Either the Chef to the Clinton foundation was off that night or is not monitoring what is going out to the tables; I'd be embarrassed to feed what we had to them. Bottom line: Food was unexceptional. Service was ok but seemed that we were more an afterthought to the server. The entertainment came to our table maybe twice due to our location. If you're going to book, I would demand that you're seated up front or you'll miss the shows and have some drinks. Eat elsewhere.
