   The restaurant was too noisy to hear the people across from us at our table for 4. The food overall was very good but the salmon was fishy. They seemed to forget about us after serving our entrees, and didn’t come to clear our plates or take dessert orders even after we called the server over and they said they’d be “right back.” After complaining to the manager, however, the restaurant gave us all dessert on the house.

   Wait staff was not attentive. Messed up our order, then after apologizing, they let us sit there with empty drinks and empty plates for 25 mins before checking in. We skipped the free apology desert they offered and left. Food was good though.

    We were seated upon arrival which was a nice start. The menu was smaller than that it was on our first visit a few years ago. The waiter was friendly and gave recommendations. The food was very good. We had the steak and sea bass special.... but nothing stood out and made me say "I can't wait to come back and have this again."

    We had a fantastic dinner at Marseille before seeing a show. Everything about the experience was wonderful. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. The food was delicious. And the setting is so lovely as it’s a beautiful restaurant. It’s definitely our favorite in NYC and we always love to go there.

    Madeline was excellent! We had three friends gathering that hadn’t seen eachother for a while and she was very patient while we took our time figuring out our order in between catching up. Food was superb, as always!

    I went to Marseille in the early evening. When we arrived, it was pretty quiet but by the time we left it was pretty loud with both customer chatter and music but not too rowdy. The onion soup and desserts were quite delicious, the entrees were great but slightly lacking in flavor/seasoning. Overall, the service, food, and ambience were pretty great but left something to be desired.

    We enjoyed our lunch very much and appreciated the prompt and efficient service as we were headed to the theatre. The Salade Nicoise was beautiful and delicious and prepared with care. The salmon and lentils were wonderful as well and the plate was cleaned!! I would definately return for lunch or dinner.

    Do they really care? There was NO SERVICE WHAT SO EVER. I got up 3 times to find someone to help me. Sat with a table of dirty dishes and had to get up and ADK for table to be cleaned. Food was amazing but I WILL NOT BE BACK. Why pay 20% when there is NO SERVICE- But I did anyway.

    Our go to bistro for well-made reasonably priced French brunch in Midtown Manhattan. We enjoy the Escargot, Croque Madame, Eggs Benedict and Chicken Curry sandwich. Disappointing that Mouiles (Mussels) were not available today, another of my favorites. We then try to save room for the Pot du Creme, a delicious mousse, or Creme Brulee. Their "endless" Mimosa adds a tasty touch to our meal. We were seated at our requested table but minus one star for the high noise level once the place filled up.

    Beautiful restaurant serving authentic French food. The frog's legs, boullabaisse, and duck confite are perfectly delicious. The service is outstanding. Highly recommend.

    Third time at this lovely restaurant, dinner with friends. Overall we loved it, mussels were delicious and large, and broth was yummy. Goat cheese appetiser was delicious but very small portions for the $$. Onion soup was sublime. Prices getting higher, so we mostly made do with appetisers, but it was a relaxed fun evening, and our server (Kristin) was terrific.

    We love Marseilles for pre theater dinner. Excellent service, and very good food. Try the short ribs, duck, warm goat cheese, and escargot. Plus oyster happy hour!

    Lovely ambiance but noisy when we ate around 7PM. Grilled octopus was inedible (tough), replaced gracefully with a good version, but not great. Stuffed trout was great but about 25% was raw and not appetizing (if not dangerous). Everything else was great. Good and helpful service, great breads. The mussels were excellent and the "soup" it was served in was out of this world,

    Mediterranean G&T was an outstanding drink I enjoyed every sip to start. All fish dishes were quite tasty and fresh. Beautifully presented. Bright and cozy enjoyable atmosphere. Service was kind and friendly.
