   This was our second time here and experience was just as pleasant as our first time. Food and service were excellent. Although the menu now is not as extensive as it used to be (pre-Covid), we still enjoyed what we had.

   Everything was so good! Such a hidden Gem. Tried all oyster, scallops and the lobster roll. The salt and vinegar fries are soooo addictive. The staff was friendly and attentive with great energy. For drinks the Bubble bath is my personal fav strong but delicious so one and done lol Can’t wait to come back!

   We tasted a variety of fresh oysters and Sauvignon Blanc. It was really good. It's quite expensive, but I recommend it because the atmosphere is good and the taste also good.

    It was actually my idea to come here--we were turned away at Per Diem, but Leo's had a table for 4, even though the place is smaller. We were greeted upon entry and even got to choose our table. The hostess very kindly offered to check in our coats, which I found to be very old-world and classy. The service, food and drinks were really impressive. The music was super loud, but our server turned it down as soon as we asked her to. We really enjoyed our time and I am hoping we'll be having work parties here too, because good time was had by all. When we were leaving, the hostess thanked me by name, which I'd never heard before and was utterly impressed by. A super charming fun place, I highly highly recommend it.

    So underwhelmed by this place. Oysters were very expensive. Only three options for main course, including one that was not available anymore. The main course scallops portion is soooo small, that we were still hungry after dinner. Noise level was very high, I would not recommend this place.

    We’ve been a Leo’s multiple times, and every time it’s been really excellent! The ambience is chic, but approachable… Like a super fun tropical bar restaurant in the heart of downtown San Francisco. Food is excellent… Service is warm, friendly, and helpful. We’re gone every year for the holidays and it’s so much fun. Can’t recommend it enough!

    Leo’s was an amazing restaurant that had food far beyond just their oysters. Every dish was not just flavorful but also incredibly artistic and creative. This was easily one of my top ten restaurants in the area, and I can’t wait to go again.

    I had the caviar service with champagne. Then a salad and lobster roll with white wine. The food is good. The chairs are uncomfortable and cramped. It is quite expensive, about 15-25$ for a glass of wine. $195 for caviar.

    I’ve always loved Leo’s for its casual sophistication paired with great food and drinks and excellent service. Last night we experienced less sophistication and a very loud (many screaming people) environment, where it was a little hard to have a conversation. Food, drink and service still very good.     Leo’s has such an amazing ambiance! The description was perfect as it also gave me old school Cuba! The oysters were heaven! I can honestly say that they are the best I’ve had in California thus far hands down! And to top it off we had an amazing experience with the hostess and the waitresses. I wish I had gotten the hostess’ name but we did get the waitress’ name which was Seaira and she was absolutely a gem! Love love loved her energy and spirit plus she made us laugh all night! Overall, we will definitely come back to Leo’s on another visit to San Fransisco ✨🧚🏾‍♀️ !

    How have I lived in SF for 2.5 years and have never been here?! This is the CUTEST place I have ever seen, we felt like we were on vacation! From the ambiance, to the music, to the service, and of course the food - Leo’s Oyster Bar is just to die for! 🍹Garden Party - love me an egg white cocktail! So refreshing, not too sweet, YUM 🥚 Leo’s Deviled Egg - only comes with a half (so make sure to order enough for each person to have their own) really tasty! If you like deviled eggs you must try 🦪 The Big Cove were our favorite, but can’t really go wrong; their cocktail sauce is amazing! We also got a few of the Chef Creek, Willapa Bay, and Eloise oysters 🍣 Spicy Salmon Bites - O M G! Sooo good, could have eaten 50. Perfect amount of spice and flavor, with perfectly cooked crispy rice 🐠 Pan Seared Scallops - I think this stole the show! Every single bite mixed with the corn and chilis left us contemplating another order. A must have! 🦀 Blue Crab + Buttered Rolls - holy moly yummy! These do not come together, but you absolutely need to order together - we made our own mini crab sandwiches! The spicy mayo added the perfect kick and the compound butter on the rolls is truly insane ✨ Like already mentioned, cutest place I’ve ever seen. Love all the decor and plants! Music was super fun and upbeat, but not too loud to have a conversation. The service was impeccable - never waited long, super friendly, and great recommendations (shout out to Flavia!) 🤍 My mom is visiting and loves all food and especially oysters, so I’m very happy my first time here was with her.     Amazing place to dine! The staff were very kind and since I was dining solo, the waitress offered me “her favorite spot in the restaurant,” which was nice! I ended up ordering 4 oysters as well as a skirt steak and fries which came out to be around $55, which I thought was very reasonable. The steak was good but nothing special, but the oysters were the real star of the dining experience!

    A lovely spot .. but *exceedingly* expensive. If you're good with paying $6/deviled egg with fried oyster on top and $19 for a simple green salad with few dollops of goat cheese, this is your place. Having said that, the oysters and crudo are EXCELLENT.
