Upset that I asked before checking in for dinner to also reserve a bowling lane was told I have to do that after dining. After dinner went to check in for a lane and was told there was a 2.5 hour wait!! Very disappointing we left it was 10:20 pm and we would have waited until we’ll after midnight. Same hostess that told us we had to wait until after dinner told us about the wait time when I asked her about previous conversation she blew me off saying it was a busy night. The point of us coming was to bowl and eat! Very disappointed
First time coming here wasnt what I expected at all. Went there with my guy for sweetest day just to do something different. The food was just ok & the waiter for some reason acted as if I wasnt at the table. Also they didnt sign me in because I didn’t receive my 100 open table points😡😡😡
The service was unbelievably slow!!! Unbelievable. The food wasn't often times inaccurate.
Super fun place for kids and family. The food was really good. The sampler was tasty and the pork tacos were amazing. Afterwards we played bowling. The kids had a blast! Little pricey
The bartender was our server and she still served us well even though she was very busy. The good was excellent and an outstanding value.
Was disappointed with the service. Had to locate our waiter multiple times and then when we did find him, it look forever to get anything. I had to remind him of multiple items we didn't receive and your establishment wasn't even that busy to be getting such poor service.
Quite over priced! $9 per person-per game! And then $5 per shoe rental. Seating at lanes not comfortable at all! Really nice ambiance. Get place to go have a drink and watch a game but I’ll pass on the bowling.
Wanted quick yummy meal before ND game and everything was perfect - got the pulled pork and rib meal and a yummy appetizer crab dip.
Maria was an incredible server, she explained specials and even told us that we were on tail end of happy hour so we can take advantage of the things on the menu that were included. She was very personable and even got in on our banter. I recommend going on a week night, it's not crowded and you might get lucky to be seated in Maria's section.
We sat at our table for 10 minutes and no one even came to the table. We went to the front desk and no one was there, not even a manger to ask, so we left.
I have been there twice before and the service was always very slow.
I will not be going back there again.
The portions were small and the drinks tasted as if there wasn’t any alcohol in them...I don’t think I’ll be recommending Kings to my friends...
My 11 year old ordered the beef street tacos. She liked them. Only when the bill came did I realize they were $19.95! My husband ordered the spicy Nashville chicken. It was pretty good but also pricey at $16.95. Not a lot of food. I got a Baja wrap which was tasty and only $6.95.
My $11 margarita was very weak. I had two sips and sent it back. The waitress gladly took it off the bill.
I made a Dine-N- Bowl reservation for a group of 8 friends for a surprise birthday celebration. The waiter seemed new, he continuously forgot our drinks, never refilled our drinks. We had to ask him multiple times where our food was and where were our drinks. the restaurant was busy but manageable with the staff they had, yet our waiter was running around and forgot to ask the rest of the table what else we needed at the same time that he wasted his own time/energy running around. When we wanted to pay our bill, we were asked how we wanted the bill separated, we told him and he wrote it down on a notepad. Thirty minutes later, we were asked by another staff member what our orders were to separate the checks. Then twenty minutes later, the old server came back and got our bill wrong and he had to ring it up again. The service was unbelievably terrible. The dine-n-bowl was recommended to save time, it literally saved zero wait time. The buzzer we received for our lane to bowl never rung during our horrible two hour dining experience and we had to ask the waiter how long was the wait. Then five minutes later, he came back and told us it was ready. We all were so annoyed at the end, we just left without bowling. Made the whole surprise party a complete waste of time and honestly did not enjoy my food, I had the calamari and it was mediocre where I took two bites and just left the rest.
The staff and customer service here was fantastic! I made a reservation ahead of time for Saturday night dinner here and a few people in my party were running late and when I went to check in our host said she would hold our table for whenever we were ready. It was our first time here and our waitress was very patient with us while we figured out drinks, the menu and bowling situation. She was very helpful throughout the whole night, great service. My boyfriend order the Texas burger and said it was great, it came with three different meats and was definitely worth the price. I ordered the chicken sandwich which wasn’t as worth for the price. Only downside is that most plates don’t come with a side and they all cost extra. They also have huge elaborate desserts to top off your night.
went at non busy time...but manager needed to come by and ask too many questions....
I celebrated my 29th birthday here on Juky 14th and my group and I had a good time. My cake was accommodated and food was great. Our lane kept messing up but other than that I had a great time and look forward to coming back.
Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Our server was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. The food was great, we had a great time.
I wouldn't go there again. The place itself was nice but the food was subpar.
The food was terrible.
The food & drink menu seems sort of limited but we found plenty to eat. Service in the restaurant was decent to good but the bar staff (bowling area bar) was uninterested in acknowledging us, unfriendly to us and never followed up after giving 2/3 of us our drinks. I even saw the wait staff waving arms trying to flag them down to get drinks, they didn’t seem like they wanted to help them either. The bar was not busy so there should have not been a reason for that treatment. My friends didn’t leave a tip, it was that bad & we always tip well. I feel terrible because last experiences there have been good.
Ambience was very fun, especially going over to bowl after dining. Service wasn’t bad, food was not that good.
We were originally waited on fairly quickly, so that was good. The appetizers, drinks, and salad were also served fairly quickly. Unfortunately, silverware and napkins were not provided, and we had to wait at least ten minutes before the server was available for us to ask for them. Then another ten minutes. Our food came out just a couple of minutes after we had finally started eating the salad and appetizers. Soon after we start started eating the entrees, the kids wanted ketchup, but it was 10 - 15 minutes before we could connect with our server. 10 more minutes to get the ketchup. I ordered the house salad with ranch. Good salad, but got blue cheese. Because of all the waiting I did not ask for the ranch dressing. I also got the Cajun fries which were very good, but the sour cream based dip was just ok. I also got the Texas burger which I thought was going to be a barbecue type sandwich and would have been much better with barbecue sauce. The sandwich was just ok, and because of the waiting experience, I was not going to ask for the sauce. I think that the wait staff is more concerned about their trendy appearance (hair, tattoos, piercings and clothing) than actually doing there jobs as servers. Our server clearly did not have the personality or energy needed for this type of work.
Exceptional customer service!!!!
We asked to be seated somewhere without a wind coming through the door and they only were able to move us one table over still next to the door with wind.
We went bowling and the waiter did not check on us for drinks at all. We had to go to the bar every single time we wanted something to drink. Not the best experience. My family and I do not plan on going back if we ever visit IL ( ROSEMONT LOCATION).
They forgot about us for like 20 minutes. The food was below standards. The young waitress didn’t know the menu at all. The pitcher of sangria was the only thing that was good.
Usually have a great time but the service this time was terrible. Waited forever for our food and could barely get a refill on drinks. Restaurant wasn't even busy so I can't explain the terrible service. I still love King's and will come back but this visit was pretty bad
Love how the Menu is always improving and the service is great. Appreciate the staff in the bar area by the TVs
The whole entire experience was great. The moment we walked in to the time we walked out, all around one of the best places I’ve been too! Our waiter in the restaurant was great and Michael, our waiter in the lanes, was fantastic! He made sure we were doing okay, he kept asking if we wanted anything else! He was attentive and awesome. Please give him a raise or something :)! Thanks Kings for an amazing night, one that will go down in the books! We definitely will be back!
Love what they have done with the restaurant area!
Great vegetarian options!
Food took forever to get and Sangria was more of a pink lemonade than a real sangria
I would recommend this place for bowling and drinks. Went for a celebratory dinner and the food was just alright. I wouldn't go for food but for drinks.
Well, I was originally excited about going to this place because the interior looks pretty cool and bowling sounded fun. I made a reservation for dine and bowl by following the link on their website. When I got to the venue however, they said I needed to call for dine and bowl, which now, going back to the website, you have to read some long paragraph that makes it sound like they will call you UNTIL YOU GET TO THE VERY LAST SENTENCE.
Regardless, once we got there, I waited at least 5 minutes for the host to show up, complained about there not being any bowling available and he pretty much acted like he didn't care. Finally got us a table, but service was ludicrously slow and the place wasn't all that busy. Food was just mediocre, and the margaritas were waaayyy watered down. For $12.99 each, that's absurd.
Will definitely not be going back here unless management was going to comp a dine and bowl experience for me to try again. Otherwise, colossal waste of money for all the other options in the city.
Great place however we were paying customers and could only play 2 games of bowling because of the waiting list..well we were able to get to this establishment early enough to play and should have been able to play as long as we wished..otherwise great place
Great place to dine if you like cold, tasteless food and nasty drinks. They serve great ice water.
Buffalo wings were dry, wished the pizza was crunchy and wished the sausage wasn’t crumbled.
Best thing about this place was the watress helping our table it's not a place i would visit on a special holiday like Easter they are not ready or have thing set up for holidays it's nice for bowling n hang out with friends not a family place
Everyone that works at this establishment is so nice! Service was terrific, food portions were big. Great alcohol selection. Definitely recommend!
Great place to relax, watch a game on one of their 3 giant screens (not to mention scattered tv's throughout the perimeter, and enjoy really good food with a great mixed menu. Their margaritas weren't like so many these days that are watered down...these were spot on delicious and just the right kick!
My friends and I enjoyed the atmosphere it was a fun outing.
