My husband and I have been to Harvest Beat many times. Every time, our experience is amazing. It's hard to believe that it's vegan. It all tastes so good!
Desert was way too smokey. The rest was great. Love this place and my last visit was amazing. Don't know why the cheesecake was frozen
Multi-course vegan meal. Amazing food! Great wine and non-alc. pairings.
Great for a date or group of 4-6.
My husband and I had a very special 10th anniversary there last weekend. The attention to detail in the menu, locally sourced ingredients and service was exceptional. We're definitely coming back more often. We especially loved the pairing of spirits as well as non-alcoholic beverages with each course. Highly recommend!
Excellent 5-course meal, best vegan food I've ever had. Seating/tables are well spaced by the bar (not too close), other tables seem tighter together in the back. Worth the money for a birthday date night with my husband.
I really wanted to love this place, but I didn’t. I do love the concept, the lengths they go to to support local farmers, minimize waste and use seasonal ingredients. But somehow, the end result wasn’t fabulous. Some of the courses were very good, but there was a sameness to them. I think I would have a better experience in spring or summer, when the dishes would (presumably) be lighter and brighter and more varied. I’ll be back in the spring.
My boyfriend and I had a great time here for our anniversary! I have never had such a luxe vegan meal before!
It was an absolutely lovely experience. The vibration in the building was incredibly high and we not only felt full, but healthy and loved. I would recommend it to anyone.
Love this place, always bringing friends here when they visit Seattle.
The food and presentation is exceptional. We like to do the wine pairing .
This was a really special dining experience. My friend and I sat at the counter and loved talking and watching the chefs plate the food for each course. The servings were generous and I honestly enjoyed everything!
So happy to finally have gone to a harvest Beat. It was everything I hope do it would be: delicious, experiential, local, all vegan.
Great place. Chef explained what we would be having and where the ingredients came from. Very attentive, friendly wait staff. Definitely a repeater.
One of our favorite go to vegan restaurants. They are excellent at accommodating any kind of food allergy/sensitivity under the sun. It all starts with outstanding product, that is transformed into these beautifully curated dishes that not only nourish you body, but all the senses. You’ll never have a more fun time eating your vegetables—even if you hated them as kids.
Food was fantastic, a very lovely experience. Overall the atmosphere and mood was very cozy and relaxed. It was rather quiet in the restaurant except for one very loud and obnoxious woman who was speaking so loud, almost screaming, we could hear everything she was saying across the room, (while we couldn’t even hear the conversation of the people next to us.)
I am actually a dedicated carnivore but I enjoyed the food very much. The ambience and the service were excellent and the wine pairing worked very well. Highly recommended
I'm super impressed, been twice now, as a chef I know this is great food.... Beautiful, tasty, and just an amazing time! I will always recommend this to anyone!!!! Always wonderful!
Easily the best restaurant meal of our lives. Both my husband and I felt that way. That lobster mushroom chowder...wow! The entire meal was delicious, vegan, local, unique, artfully presented, and served in a low-key but pretty setting by a kind, friendly team. We loved learning more about the ingredients of our meal and how they were sourced. Perfect night out and can’t wait to go again! Thank you, humans of Harvest Beat...continued success to you.
We brought our friends from Ireland here and they loved it.
Special food - but too much of it. Smaller portions across the board would make the dining experience extraordinary and spiritual. Alas, big portions/better value thinking has even infected a vegan world stand-out like Harvest Beat.
What an amazing experience with incredible seasonal food!
Recently went for a girls night and we weren’t disappointed. There is so much passion and creativity in every dish and every single ingredient is thoughtfully chosen. None of us are vegan/vegetarian but we were all so satisfied at the end of the meal. Service was great. Food was delicious. The passion behind food, farming, local sourcing and using seasonal produce was spot on!
Very nice to have a vegan option with creativity
Food was epic. Very unique and flavorful. Loved everything! So much.
Cons: not enough food. I was still hungry. For the hefty price, I should be full.
Im not a girl that eats like a pig and I’m not a big person either.
Another con, is a five course dinner. However, the tiny soup that’s in the picture below was as a course. That Tiny soup should not count as a course. So the picture below is TWO courses😿
What a unique and wonderful experience this gem of a restaurant offers in the heart of Seattle. The staff members are all so friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed learning about each meal and what delicious ingredients went into it from the lecture given by the chef. One thing that stands out about this place are those unique and odd ingredients, that when mixed together create a flavorful concoction.
The food, staff, and ambiance is outstanding as always! This place needs a Michelin Star...hmmm.
Fabulous experience. I just wish they served bread! Or some carb to fill you up a bit more, we went home happy but immediately dug into some snacks once we got back. Would recommend though.
We were blown away by the entire experience. Not only was the food creative and very pleasing to the pallet the waitstaff and chef were very welcoming and knowledgeable. We can’t wait to go back!
Great vegan option - very creative courses with great flavor and texture combos.
Not vegan but this is an amazing restaurant- great local food with amazing flavors and refinement.
Best restaurant! I traveled to many cities and tried vegan food but this one is by far the BEST!!
I'm not a vegan and I loved all the savory courses.
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Harvest Beat. The food was delicious, the service was amazing, and they went out of their way to accommodate our special food needs. Definitely a worthwhile place to go for special occasions.
Always amazing!! Even if you aren't vegan, you will enjoy!
An almost religious experience. Dazzling flavors and textures. Fresh and local raw materials. Menu changes every few weeks—no two meals are ever the same. Well worth the trip, the time, the cost.
Best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at! Highly recommend for special occasions..
It was one of the best vegan meals I've ever had. All local ingredients. 5 course meal.
A bit disappointing. Five minute description from our yakety yak server on the filtered water was unnecessary as was the chef’s verbatim recital of the menu. (From what we could actually hear!) Boring! He treated us like it was our first time eating organic micro greens. I also didn’t realize it was a group sitting. Felt like we were at a commune camp of some sort. I think diners are sophisticated enough at this time to let the food speak for itself. The food was good but on the bland side.
I took my friend here for her birthday on Saturday night! She is vegan and I am not so I was excited to experience this with her. We were both so impressed with the entire experience. We walked in and got to choose where we would like to sit (we opted for the bar so we could watch the food being prepared). We were greeted by the chefs and immediately felt welcome. Before service started the head chef spoke to the entire restaurant and told us about the ingredients and that nights menu (it changes every 3 weeks). Everything was creative and amazing! I would definitely go back, though for me it is a little pricey (worth it) for a normal evening.
A truly unique and delightful experience. There is only one seating and a fixed strictly vegan menu. It is located in a neighborhood just outside downtown Seattle, near the U of Wash campus. The building is a storefront in a strip of various establishments but the interior is rustic and cozy. The staff is very friendly and the chef gives a whole presentation about each dish. My husband absolutely loved everything. I am admittedly a bit pickier but found almost everything delicious (I'm not a huge mushroom fan and there were a couple of mushroom-centered courses). Really good vegan restaurants (ones that don't just phone it in with some risotto and fake meat junk) are surprisingly hard to find. This one is a definite gem!
My only complaint was while I was sitting outside they were fumes of propane or exhaust of some kind that would waft through the air occasionally. It definitely dampened the whole experience. However we chose to sit outside, so I don’t really find the restaurant at fault for this. Food and service were absolutely outstanding and we will visit again!
