Christina and her team were extraordinary.
Service good, food good but a bit bland (though the oysters were excellent). Too noisy for a group and challenging for two.
Love this place!
Awesome. When one wants to dine and not just eat this is the place.
Great food and great service from our waiter!
We were given the option upon arrival that we could wait for a table to open up or sit at a high top table right away which was nice. Our server was very knowledgeable about the oysters and gave us genuine recommendations that tasted great. Drinks were good, bang bang shrimp is always a must and that was good too. This is a great casual spot that is not quiet by any means, the tables are very close together and can get pretty loud around dinner time- nonetheless I enjoy coming here for something different in Lincoln park.
Wonderful food and Rosemary was a great server
Happy hour drinks were gross and the service was terrible. We had to remind them to bring our oysters and they completely forgot the garlic shrimp. The fish tacos were soggy and fell apart in my hands. Way too expensive for the quality of food and service. Not coming back
outstanding service, fresh oysters daily, variety of options on the menu- and their famous coconut cake is a MUST HAVE
Our server, Ryan, was excellent! He made great drink suggestions and was helpful answering questions that my daughter and I had regarding the menu.
Great happy hour prices, delicious oysters, and good cocktails. Fun atmosphere and the service is inviting and helpful!
Just great oysters and fresh seafood. Good French chablis!
Brunch! Best deal in town!!!
Really liked the oysters and clam chowder then they outdid themselves with fish, tacos, mussels, lobster Mac n cheese and fried chicken! Highly recommended!
I had the grilled calamari which was very tasty; my friend had thd fried oysters, which she enjoyed. Service was very good.
Everything was perfect. But, the chilled lobster was rather rubbery.
Nice selection of fresh oysters I had never tasted before. Good cocktails, ceviche and poke were very fresh and well-seasoned
Great food. Get the seafood roll!
Great date soot
Ribs were terriific. Crab legs small. Louie salad small pieces of shrimp and crab meat. Not big pieces of shrimp and crab meat.
Enjoyed our meal here. Fresh seafood and good service. We sat upstairs which seemed to be quieter and more romantic then the downstairs which was nice. Would come back.
Food poor and overpriced ... service ok but food was poor and overpriced.
Food was either too salty or bland. Not a value
We selected this based on the great reviews. We weren't disappointed, but it didn't live up to the raves. The food was good, but not outstanding. The oyster special of the day was okay, but we didn't care for the sauce that had already been added. The same with the mussels. The bread was good and warm. It was a cold day, and all the food came out cold, which we weren't expecting. We may go back for a second try, but there are other oyster bars that far exceed this experience.
This place is a gem. Casual, fun, great menu and even better service. Their craft cocktails are well thought out and very refreshing. I liked the diversity of the menu with oysters and friend chicken and grilled artichokes. The atmosphere is a mixed crowd of all ages and just offering a great vibe.
Our waiter was so pleasant and really on his game.
Terrific oysters, very good clam chowder and the jalapeño hush puppies were surprisingly good!
The food was excellent and the layout of the restaurant was really well thought. Cozy without feeling squeezed in
The King Crab bites not worth $25 (small amount). The oysters and fried chicken were very good. Good service.
The service was great and the food was even better. Delicious fresh oysters, the soup was wonderful and we could have easily shared a main dish. We loved it.
Perfect, affordable seafood place to go with friends, family, or on a date! Food was delicious! Highly recommend
I love this place. The food is always excellent, as is the wine, and the service is great. Oyster Bah is a great place to go.
Great place for Oysters and other seafood. We had Oysters from East Coast, West Coast and Canada and it was fun tasting the differences. I had a bowl of clam chowder that was terrific. Others had the clams which were also great. We then headed to Jeni's for Ice Cream around the corner!!
Food was delicious and our server was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The oyster menu was diverse and they were delicious! Seafood Roll was on point! Went back the following night for Alaskan King Crab and it was excellent. I just wish we had been there on Thursday when they feature Endless King Crab and Prime Burgers downstairs!
The food and service was great. They had a great happy hour deal on some wonderful choices.
Great stop for a happy hour. The drinks were great too.
Great food, good Happy Hour deals, and wonderful service!
Brunch at Oyster Bah is fun and creative - but very expensive. I would recommend skipping the brunch and just getting the entree if you want to save some $. The shrimp and grits were delicious, and the crab cake sandwich very good. We were not impressed with the drinks, and the deviled eggs were bland. The service was just ok - but the front seats near the window are great.
Great food and great brunch buffet with bottomless mimosas. I will be back!
Food was delicious especially the seared tuna tacos. But the most outstanding feature was the service. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the tacos to me.
